Blood and Love (red x sans)

Sans and Red had been living togather for a while now, but it wasn't at all a cake walk.. Red was in bed a lot as of late and had very little energy for anything. Red refused help too.. Sans was concerned but.. when he tried to force Red to do anything, they would get into fights. Red got out of bed and held a wall, walking to the living room, sitting next to Sans. "Hey.. " Sans held him "hey.. feeling okay?" Red looked away "I.. don't want to talk about it.. I'll be fine.." Sans eye twitched and he started breathing heavily. Reds breathing was shallow and slow.. "Red.. just.. tell me what's wrong..okay?" Red looked down "I.. fuck.. If ya knew you'd kick my ass.. I fucked up and I can't tell ya what I've been doin..okay? It's.. just a shit load of mistakes.. I'll be f-" he started coughing and held his mouth, the noises he made .. it was obvious he was NOT okay. "Red, what the hell is wrong? Tell me!...please.." Red moved his hand and looked into it. Coughing made him dizzy.. his hand was dark red and he could hardly breathe. "Sans.. help me.. please.. I'm sorry I.. did something stupid.. I can't do this shit alone ..." Sans held him. "Do you know what's wrong ..?" Red was fading in and out of consciousness.. Sans was almost sure he would get no answers.

Sans sighed.. he had Red laid in a bed , Alphys had been looking after him every now and then.. he was stuck in bed and sedated. Sans knew what had happened now.. Red was badly Injured somehow.. Sans had no idea how he didn't notice it until now. He had also been heavily overdosing.. Sadly the pills were already digested, so nothing could be done to help that.. Sans sighed as Reds heart was still beating irregularly. Sans punched himself in the face and cried into his hands. "Why.. I said I would protect him.. but I can't do shit right.. I'm a peice of shit failure .. he can die any moment and it'd be my fault.. " Sans gripped his face hard, his eye glowing as he gripped harder and harder.. his skull cracking a bit from the force. He shook it off and sighed. "Damn it ... Hold back your anger Sans.. no one needs to see that side of you.." Sans looked down at Red.. his breathing was normal and most vitals were normal also, becides his heart. Alphys walked in with a needle and a few vials of medicine. "I'm going to wake him up now. His body should be healed enough to be able to function normally. I managed to heal his broken ribs , it took a while though sadly. Any idea who could have hurt him so badly?" Sans sighed and nodded. "His brother is all that comes to mind.. he did sneak out a few times but.. I thought nothing of it.. " Sans sighed "It's alright Sans.. He should be fine now as long as he takes it easy, but he may have permanent damage from the pills he took, so just give him these to help with any internal bleeding and pain he may have, I made it injectable so he can't overdose on it agian. Now I'm going to have to pin him down while I inject this.. it'll most likely send his body into shock. He'll be okay , but his body will take a moment to adjust to being awake agian." Sans nodded "be careful with him.. please" she nodded and strapped Red down to the bed. She lifted his shirt and placed the needle in a fleshy part of his hip. His heart rate increased and he screamed loudly. His eyes red as he clawed at the restraints on his arms. He didn't know what was happening so he was scared. He summoned blasters and aimed them at Alphys and Sans. Fireing them and grunting. Sans blocked the blast but got hit slightly. Gladly he was fine, it only his his shoulder a little. Red sighed and calmed down. He looked around "oh.. uh.. what happened?" Sans eye went back to normal. "I know what happened, I know what you did. I had to fix it. I stay here for a week while you recovered from something that could easily have killed you. Yet you have the audacity to ask what happened ." Sans was obviously pissed off. Reds eyes were wide and he shook a bit. "I can't handle this kind of shit Red, I have my damn issues too but I care about you too much to leave you alone like that. Can't you do the same?" Reds heart rate was very high. Sans didn't notice, his eye glowing and streaming tears. "Can you think of anyone but yourself for once!? I fucking love you Red, okay? I do.. so please... Don't try to leave me like that.." Reds eyes were glowing and he summoned another blaster, aimed at Sans. "Go ahead and fire at me. If you plan to kill me, go ahead, I won't move. If you don't care about your life, why should I worry about mine?" Red quickly put it away and started crying loudly. Sans eyes widened "I..Red I.. I'm sorry.. I.. " Red broke out of the restraints and walked away into the hotlands. He was still crying, why was Sans being so mean? He didn't even bother asking why he did what he did.. or what happened. All he did was blame him and yell at him.. he kept walking until he fell in the snow.. he laid there and cried quietly. Sans was teleporting to find him. When he did, he went to touch him. Red slapped his hand away. Sans sighed "I deserve that..I'm sorry.. I was just.. I was scared and angry and I took it out on you.. I'm sorry.." Red nodded and hid in Sans chest. "You act like I did those things because I wanted to.. my bro beat the shit outta me .. I was in so much pain and nothing was helping. I couldn't tell ya cuz he would hurt you too..he threatened to.. I wasn't gunna let em get to you.. I ended up taking too many pills cuz I couldn't handle the shit in my head.. I was scared too.. it's why I didn't tell you nothing.. I figured if I ignored it it'd go away.. heh funny I know..but.. everything is okay now ... So.. can we just.. stop being jerks to eachother?" Sans sighed "yeah.. I bet you're hungry and want to go home huh?" Red nodded "yeah.. please?" Sans nodded and helped Red up and back home. The place was a mess, Sans sighed. "Sorry.. I uh.. was busy.. " Red sighed "it's whatever, we can clean later. I'ma make dinner this time. You need to relax." Sans sighed deeply "how about this, I'll clean up a bit, and you cook and lift the couch when I ask, can you use your magic enough for that?" Red shrugged "yeah, should be able to manage that at least. So.. what kind of food stuffs do we even have?" Sans shrugged a bit. "Not sure, got some meat a few days ago, rice is always around, uh.. seasonings like usual, I mean it's a bit late to go get food.." Red nodded a little. "I'll figure something out." He walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. There was a few wine bottles, one full one about half empty. He took the wine ,the meat, some rice and spices. "We have any spinach or lettuce?" Sans nodded "yeah, had salad yesterday, there's some mixed shit in the door." Red nodded and grabbed it . He started a pot and set it on high to boil. He cut a little of the fat from the meat, and set it aside. He put a bit if wine and butter in a pan and set it on low heat, adding a little flour here and there, humming softly. Sans watched him while picking up trash and dirty socks and such. "Alright, using vaccume now, lift the couch ok?" Red lifted one hand and lifted the couch as Sans cleaned under it. "Alright, done. I'll clean more later. I kept the room relatively clean. Hey, maybe we can see if paps wants to visit in a few days, sound good?" Red nodded "sure, been a ..wait does he know we're togather..?" Sans scratched his head "I honestly can't remember if he does or not, he's even more forgetful then me. Heh" Red blushed and kept cooking. "Hey that smells pretty good. Almost done?" Red laughed "fat ass, yes it's almost done." He drained the now cooked rice, adding the meat and sauce , then adding some greens on top. "Tada, fuckin MasterChef up in this bitch" Sans laughed softly "it really does smell pretty amazing.. but, you haven't eaten normally in a while so I think you should eat first. I've eaten every now and then so I'll live." Red pouted "I made this for us, not just me. There's enough for both of us and maybe leftovers depending on how hungry you or I are, just shut up and stuff your stupid face." Sans narrowed his eyes at the banter, but he took a few bites. The food wasn't bad by any means, it was just a strange combination of flavors and textures. "Huh.. not what I expected it to taste like. It didn't look spicy but it is, yet it's sweet too? " Red grunted "yeah yeah shut up and eat, I'm not that good at seasoning and I like spicy food, okay?" Sans nodded "no no it's good I just didn't expect it to be spicy is all"
Reds face was dark. It was obvious he was trying to hid the blush on his cheeks as Sans complimented his cooking skills. "Make sure you eat too love. Okay?" Reds face got brighter red and he nodded. "I will no worries." He made himself a plate and sat at the table also, though all he could really do was watch Sans eat. It was obvious he was distracted. Sans look at him while he wasn't paying attention and smirked. He stuck his long tongue out a bit. Red shook to attention and squeaked. Sans chuckled and closed his mouth. "What the fuck asshole!" Sans leaned back and laughed. "Oh come on Hun. What's even got you so distracted? Lots on your mind?" Sans lost his playfulness and was more serious. Red looked away. "N- no I'm alright. I promise it's just.. I'm thinking about how we ended up here" he scratched the back of his neck. He felt bad for things that had happened recently.. he was scared Sans would be mad at him again.. or that he would be abandoned. Red didn't realize he had tears streaming down his cheeks. Sans gasped when he saw Red crying. He went behind him and softly wrapped his arms around him. "Hey.. it's alright. What's wrong?" Red covered his face and cried into his own hands. "I.. I'm sorry.. I'm an idiot and I don't deserve to have someone like you in my life. I took what you gave me and almost threw it away instead of asking you for help .. I'm selfish and.." Sans lightly put his hand under Reds chin, lifting it up softly. "Red.. please don't say these things.. if I didn't care about you I never would have offered you to come stay with me. I don't just mess around with people for the fun of it. That's a waste of my time." He moved his mouth close to Reds as he spoke. "I love you. Please don't doubt my love for you. If I could take all this pain and worry away from you I would. You dont deserve how you were treated. Hopefully one day I can make you see just how important you are." Tears streamed from Reds eyes. He planted a kiss on Sans lips as Sans held him close. "Shh.. it's okay love ... I'm not going to leave you just like that. I promise."
Red clung onto Sans and didn't let go. Sans smiled softly and held him close. He wiped his tears and hummed softly while Red cried against his chest. "Shh.. it's okay. I'm right here. Cry all you need, I won't let you go."
After a few minutes Red calmed down, wiping his eyes one last time before lifting his head up. "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to get so emotional." Sans pat his head. "No worries love. I don't mind. As much as I hate to see you cry, it's even worse to hold on your feelings." Red nodded. "Yeah.. thank you for being here for me.. I couldn't have asked for anyone better." Sans blushed a little bit. "Hey.. I'm your boyfriend aren't I? That's part of my job. Keep you safe and be here for the good and the bad moments." Red nodded "heh.. I guess you're right." Red blushed and mumbled a bit. Sans tilted his head. "huh? Sorry you need to speak a bit louder" Red was a bit more reserved with his emotions and how he was feeling. Sans could easily say "I love you" a million times a day.. sadly that wasn't something Red was able to easily do. No matter how badly he wanted to. He looked down, talking slightly louder "I.." Sans smiled. "Take your time love." Sans went to go wash the dishes when Red grabbed his hand. "I... I love you .. okay?" Sans eyes got wide as he paused. "W- what..?" Red looked away. "I said I love you okay?! Don't make me repeat myself a million times.. I know you herd me." Sans put the plates down and picked Red up like he weighed nothing, holding him tightly. "SHXIEIWNLA PUT ME DOWN ASSHOLE!" Sans kissed Reds cheek, which was warm and deep red. "I love you too. You better believe I'm remembering this shit. " He nuzzled into Reds neck and purred. Red murred and pushed him off. "Hey- easy. You know my necks sensitive." Sans chuckled. "I know I know.. sorry I got excited is all. " Red huffed a bit. "Put me down jerk.. I'm not a stuffed animal." Sans chuckled. "Say pleaaaseee~" he stuck his tongue out. Red laid against Sans instead. "Actually.. I like this spot better.." he wrapped his legs around Sans waist and arms around his neck. Sans smiled and kissed his cheek softly. "Let me at least get these dishes in the sink and we can go lay in bed. Sound good? Or do you want to shower first?" Red nuzzled under Sans chin, closing his eyes. Sans smiled softly "alright alright.. we can go lay down. I take it the medicine is making you tired?" Red nodded softly. It was obvious it was taking all his willpower not to fall asleep. Sans used a bit of his magic to help hold Red in place to ensure he didn't fall if he did fall asleep. Which surely enough he did. Sans kept a close eye on him while he put the dishes in the sink as quietly as he could. He walked up the stairs and softly placed Red on the bed after moving the blankets. Laying next to him and wrapping an arm around him. He kissed his cheek, turning the light dim. "Goodnight love." Red mumbled and went back to sleep right after. Sans didnt go straight to bed, as he wanted to just spend time holding Red close and enjoying the feeling. Yet before he knew it, they were both fast asleep.
