My body was shaking, but I was calm.
I ran and ran inside the store, trying to find civilians in need of saving.
I was sure I got almost everyone.
The building started shaking and I stopped walking.
I could feel someone has been following me, but I didn't want to say anything. Up until now.
"I know you've been following me. Come out." I turned around, stunned of who I saw.
It was Dabi. My hands started to shake vigorously, not believing my eyes. "Dabi? What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in along time! Where have you-"
Blue flames were coming at me. And fast. I leaped out of the way, trying not to get hurt.
"Dabi!" I screamed. He was grinning maniacally. "Where have you been, Dabi?"
Dabi, Toga, and I used to be friends when we were little kids. They were my family. That was until Dabi fell in love with Toga. We were three peas in a pod.
Toga and I both knew Dabi was unstable. He was capable of bad thing he didn't even know he could do. Despite that, we loved him all the same.
"Why does it matter? Did you even try to look for me?" There was pure hatred in his voice. It was like he was already broken.
"Dabi, I-"
"And what about Toga? What the hell did you do to her?" He was crying. So was I. I couldn't bare seeing him like this.
Scars were everywhere on his body. He was mentally and physically falling apart.
"Dabi, please! It's not too late! You can join me. You can come with me and I'll-"
"You'll just turn me in! Just like what you did before." Dabi was fast, but I was faster. I didn't want to hurt him, but I didn't want him hurting everyone.
Toga had finally said yes to Dabi and he was the happiest boy in the world. It was like he just won the lottery.
Everything was going great. They were madly in love.
Toga loved him. Very much.
Dabi loved her, as well. But it was too much.

Dabi loved her so much that it became an unhealthy obsession. He became very possessive and would hurt Toga every time he saw her talking to another guy. He was mentally unstable. Toga and I finally knew that.
Toga had finally had enough. Toga had told Dabi that she wanted to leave.
Dabi couldn't take it and threatened to kill himself if she left him. Of course, Toga still loved Dabi. So, she had no choice but to stay.
For years, I stood by her side, protecting her from Dabi. But, that's all I could do. And that's all I did.
"You killed her, Yuri! You took her away from me!" He shouted. I cried and cried louder.
"You're not stable, Dabi! You killed her and you have to accept that!"
Dabi kept firing at me, leaving me no chance to attack. I just kept on running.
The building shook some more. Shit, it was going to collapse. I looked outside and noticed that almost everyone was gone.
I got to get him out of here. I jumped outside the window, landing on my feet. Dabi was right behind me.
