"Y/n honey it's time to go to school and don't forget to pick up greg this morning" your mom yelled.
"ok mom" you replied putting the last final things in your bag and heading out the door. It was a chilly morning and kind of rainy, your favorite days.
You and your brother, Rowley headed out the door and got into your car, an old beat up jeep you and your friends called the turd.
This morning you had to pick up Greg, Rowleys best friend who also happened to be the brother of your best friend, Rodrick.
You arrived at Greg's and Rowley hopped out to go grab him. You went on your phone when someone pounded on your window. It was Rodrick.
"damn what are you trying to do" you said rolling it down laughing.
"just seeing how you are. So hey i heard your playing a show tonight?" he said pulling his mouth slowly into a smile.
"yea tonight's the big night" you said eagerly.
Rodrick smiled knowing this was super important to you. See you played in a band , bass actually, and tonight was the big opening night, or at least for you. Him and all your other friends were going to be there to support along with the entire family.
"hey mind if i catch a ride with you too" he said already hopping into the passengers seat.
"yea of course" you said
You saw the two boys walk out and hop into the car
"Greg! what's up" you said to Rodricks little brother giving him your secret hand shake.
"y/n! it looks like you are all dressed up" he said a little to excitedly.
You laughed it off "i'm wearing a jacket greg" rodrick also laughing.
Rodrick knew Greg had a crush on you. Almost everyone did ,except Rowley. Obviously nothing would happen since he was in seventh grade and you in 11th so everyone just played it off, it was an innocent crush.
You first dropped off Greg and Rowley and then drove yourself to you and Rodricks school. You guys parked and then sat for a bit talking and saying how excited you both are for tonight's concert.
*time flash to afterschool*
You got done with school and met Rodrick back up again. Then you guys picked up the boys and all headed back to the heffleys. Rodrick and you were going to practice some songs and the boys were going to play video games.
"Hey rodrick i'll be right back i gotta pee" you said leaving the garage.
You passed by Greg's room when you overheard something
"She's like sex on a stick Rowley, you wouldn't even understand she's just so mature." you heard Greg say
"well who is it" Rowley responded curiously
"well it's y/n" he said back proudly
"wh- what!" Rowley said back
"yea dude you're sister is hot" Greg said back
"don't talk to me, don't come by my house, we're done" Rowley said leaving the door and seeing you in the hallway
"Y/n i want to go home" he said
"ok rowley just give me a minute to say bye to Rodrick here's the keys" you said handing him the keys awkwardly looking at greg and then saying bye to rodrick.
"hey i'm sorry i have to go i think greg and rowley just got into a fight" you said
"well can't you stay ? it's probably some stupid fight" he said
"why don't you come with me back to my place and i'll tell you everything." you said
So you rodrick and rowley went back to your house. Rowley went to his room and you told rodrick everything in yours.
"yea so basically Greg called me hot in front of rowley" you said sitting on your bed looking at rodrick
"yea theyre fucked" he said laughing
You both laughed and then died down.
Rodrick was looking at you and giggling still.
"what" you said pushing his shoulder
"oh nothing just greg is SO right" he said
"what what do you mean" you said blushing
"you're gorgeous y/n , i've wanted to tell you for so long" he said
You cut him off pulling him into a magical kiss. You guys fell back on the bed still making out. Him now on top of you and his hand moving down to your neck when rowley barges in.
"oh sweet baby jesus" he yelled
You ran after him
"rowley! please don't tell mom and dad" you said basically begging
"y/n i just ew gross." he said
Then rodrick walks in
"deny deny deny" he said very intimidatingly to rowley.
"rowley just looked back at him scared and you knew he wouldn't crack.
You and rodrick then walked back to your room where he now locked the door, looked you dead in the eye and then pulled you in once more.
