Russia's POV

I stared at the notice. It had been about 10 minutes until-

'Heyy Russia-' America started looking at me and the the notice. He went quiet too.

ASSIGNED ROOMMATES.

1. Ukraine and Poland 105

2. Myanmar and Niger 109

3. India and Thailand 207

4. Phillipines and Bangladesh 409

5. America and Russia 102

I didn't have time to read the rest because Japan quickly pulled me away.

'Seen the news already, Sherlock?' She said bouncing up and down, 'You- I- How?' I stuttered.

'Jeez, it's just roommates you know! , nothing unusual' she said grinning evilly.

Scowling, I walked toward the stairs, since we were on the ground floor, and my room was on the 1st floor. As I walked up my mind crossed across what Georgia had said about the tournament, "so will you take part?", should I? I knew the challenges where hard, my father had participated when he was younger. I thought about it, maybe I would you know? It couldn't be life threatening could it?

I found my dorm and walked through the door, it was a light gray with a golden, number plate saying "102- Russia and America" in bold italic. Taking a deep breath I opened the door. Thank the heavens America hadn't reached yet, I picked the bed closer to the window, thinking and knowing that this may be a good place to think and ponder about things.

Third person's view

The loud noises of chattering and footsteps were usual for a first day at school. Prefects were trying to quiet the students down as the headmaster, UN, stood up to make a couple of announcements in the assembly hall.

"Greetings, countries" his voice rang out across the room, many people shut up at once while others continued to whisper.  "A couple of important notices, students in year 9, please note your your end of school exams will take place this year, I wish you good luck." Many of the armies groaned, the end of school exams covered questions from all the ten years of topics the countries and armies studied. "I hope you realize that the 15 rules are very important for both you, and this school's reputation, and one last IMPORTANT announcement is the Swelupet Contest will be taking place this year, anyone who wishes to participate must inform our librarian" he said gesturing to SAARC "4 groups of 5 will be made, with a participant from each house, this is to test if you can trust people from other houses. Now without further ado, get to the lunch hall, we must prepare for a great year ahead!" he said. People started to get up slowly and look for their friends before leaving, in the chaos no body noticed Russia dragging Georgia out.

"He, what the, what are you doing Russia?" Georgia asked huffing. "I'm gonna participate" Russia said. Georgia paused, "What? You wouldn't participate- not after-" "Shut up about that Georgia" Russia said coldly, he didn't want to remember what happened that year. "I told you this, so you don't get in my goddamn way, Dad didn't win, but I will" he muttered. Georgia made a face of disgust, "I don't care what the hell you do Russia, go die in a hole for all I care-".

"Is there a problem here boys?"

EU stepped in front of them, "Aren't you supposed to be in the lunch hall?" he asked. "Y-yes professor we were just-" Georgia started. "I don't want to hear any excuses this time Georgia, I'm talking to you too Russia. As the Aeolian house's head, it will be quite disappointing if my house once again seems to come back to the same childish behavior." he stated and strutted away. "You gotta be more careful bitch, you could have got us caught!" Georgia said spitefully under is breath. "Aw, are you looking out for me?" Russia said, trying to annoy Georgia. "SHUT UP" Georgia whisper-yelled and sprinted to the right, towards the lunch hall.

Russia sighed and walked there too. Sitting at the Aeolian table he spoke to Germany, one of his closest friends. As they did so no one noticed India and Pakistan, two of the most competitive siblings on earth walk in the same direction talking about something inaudible to others.
