She was destined to them. It was Fate's desire for them to be together, for them to be mated to one another. She was theirs and they were hers.

Hey guys, if you see any glitches in this chapter, please let me know in the comments. I edited this but there could still be glitches I missed. The glitches are in the form of combining two words together when they shouldn't be combined. Ex: inAro (this was an actual glitch that was fixed.)
Dressing into a white sundress, wrapping a light-brown bandana around my hair, slipping my feet into white heels, putting brown contacts in my eyes, and taking the credit card that I stole from Aro's desk, I was ready. I walk over to the window on the left side of the room and open it to reveal tannish brick roofs and a square courtyard. The sky was also overcast. Perfect, I think. The sky will conceal me from being found out by humans. Looking behind me to make sure no one has entered the room, I let out an unnecessary breath of air and jump out of the window to land in the courtyard.

I survey the courtyard, looking at the arches that adorn the outside walls and making sure no one was in the courtyard or near. After surveying for thirty seconds, I stealthily walk through an arch that will take me to the gates according to a map I read in Aro's chambers. Deciding after not seeing anyone, I take a run for it and jump over the outside wall that secludes the castle from Volterra. I made it. I was out of the castle walls.
I was in awe. The city was absolutely beautiful. It had a fountain in the middle of the Piazza Grande. Italian flags adorning almost every building. There was a stone fountain on the left side of the piazza, right in front of what looks like to be a clubhouse. People were walking around in the Piazza Grande. I, however, couldn't stay in the same place for long. I had to look for a clothing store. Quick.
"Excuse me?" I ask a person who has a black beard with small grey tuffs in it. He looks up. "Do you know where the nearest clothing store is, please?"
The guy squints his eyes in confusion. Oh no. I don't think he can understand english, I think. I only begun my Italian lessons a few days ago. I couldn't speak it fluently yet. "Scusi signorina. Non capisco l'inglese." he tells me.
Definitely doesn't speak english. I thank him and rush over in human speed to another person. This person already being in conversation and, luckily for me, was speaking english to their peer. "Excuse me!" I say as I run over to them. They both stop their conversation to look up to me. "Do you know where the nearest clothing store is, please?"
The girl with brunette hair chuckles. "I'm taking it you've never been to Volterra before?" I shake my head no. "Thought so. If you want the best and largest clothing stores in the nearest area, you'll want to go to Florence. There's a bus coming right now if you want to go there."
I thank her and go to the bus stop where the orange bus stops. I enter the bus and take a seat.
It takes an hour before I get to Florence. The bus stops in front of the Florence Mall. Perfect stop, I think. I enter the Florence Mall and go to the nearest clothing store that seems to have good clothing items. I browse through shirts and jeans before gathering those that appeal to me. I enter the changing room and try each one on. It takes about an hour until I'm done trying all of the clothes I had gathered. Each one fitted fine and looked good on me. Before I exit the changing room, I hear Demetri's voice. He tracked me.
"Have you seen a woman with light-blonde hair, brown eyes? Looks to be about 5'4"?" I can hear him talk to the cashier.
"Er, yes," the man says. "She walked in the changing room about an hour ago with a whole pile of clothes."
"Thank you." Demetri thanks. I can hear heavy footsteps outside of the changing room. "Lady Amity?"
I pondered on whether to answer or not, but he knew I was there by scent. Knowing I was in deep trouble, I sigh. "Yes, Demetri?"
"Get out of there and pay for your clothes. The masters want you home." he says.
Changing back in the clothes I wore when I got here, I open the door and see Demetri and another guard with brown hair looking stressed. He gestures to the cashier and I walk up to the cashier and pay for my clothes before Demetri takes me by the arm and leads me to a limousine that was waiting outside the mall. There were people taking pictures of it.
He opens the door and I get inside, bowing my head knowing I was in trouble. He closes the door before opening the passenger door. "Felix, start driving." he says before facing towards me. "Do you know how idiotic that was? The masters were frantic! They've rampaged their whole chambers. Destroyed their own thrones. Punched walls. You left without permission and without a note! They thought you had left them! Marcus was getting better, but when Felix, Afton, and I left, he looked like how he was before you and the masters met! They're devastated! The whole coven is!"
I lose it. "Do you know how frustrating it is to be locked in a castle? Do you know how devastating it was for me to learn that I can't even go outside to the garden? The freaking garden! I can't even wear what I want to wear! I'm supposed to be their equal, but I'm treated like I'm some sort of pet!"
Afton, the brown-haired vampire, speaks. "Hey, you may be my superior, but this is better to be complained to the masters. Demetri can't fix any of that."
"Well, he threw a fit about me leaving." I scoff.
Demetri throws his hands up in the air. "I'm just saying what you caused."
I glare. "I don't car--"
"Can we just stop discussing this? This is better left to the masters." Felix interrupts.
"Fine!" I say, crossing my arms in defeat.
"Finally. Silence." Felix says. I glare at him.
