This is one of my personal favorites, it was written during one of the first playwriting classes. It is meant to be a short dialogue between two people. The challenge we had for writing this was actually really fun. So basically the first line has to have 10 words, the second line has 9, then 8, 7, and so on. I highly recommend this as a fun writing activity. Anyways... Here's what I wrote.
A) Good morning everyone. In this class, you will learn a lot.
B) A lot? But what topic are we learning about?
A) It doesn't matter. It's a class, just learn.
B) But what do I learn about?
A) Class is short, just start.
B) Ok fine. I'm starting now.
A) Ok, everyone, class dismissed!
B) Wait, what? But-
A) It's short!
B) Goodbye!
