This is another story I wrote in fourth grade. I am not taking credit for this story AT ALL. This was written in a group, where I wrote the first sentence, then I gave the laptop to someone else to write the next sentence, and we kept passing our chromebooks around, in a circle for the rest of class. This is what we ended up with.

"Beep Beep Beeeep" My alarm clock wailed. It was 6:30 am, time to get ready for my first day of middle school in Ohio. I was scared to death. Trust me, being a new kid for the fifth time in 12 months is hard, especially since everyone knows that I've been kicked out of all the schools I've applied for. Life stinks.

"Buddy, time to get going you don't want to be late."

"Just a minute dad."

"Okay, Jake."

Time to go back to bed.

7:30. "Jake! Where are you?" "We're leaving in 5 minutes!"

7:45. "Blarg, I hate school. I'm not going, Dad!"

7:50 " Come down or else!"

I didn't want to, but I went downstairs. I wouldn't have to if it was my mom that was calling. But believe me, my dad can be scary.

The delicious smell of bacon was in the air. Bacon is my favorite food, but still, it can't cheer me up right now. I have breakfast quickly and get ready.

I was so terrified while we were in the car driving to school. As soon as I got there I ran straight to class and slouched down in my seat. Soon after, the teacher came in and introduced himself as Mr. Calamari. He said he was going to be my homeroom teacher.

"Hey, Mr. Squid whatcha gonna teach us, how to speak dolphin?" I cackled, then I started to laugh hysterically. My neighbor joined in and soon the whole class was laughing.

" We already know how to whistle!" exclaimed the boy two seats in front of me.

" That's enough children, today we're actually going to just get to know each other a bit."

" You've gotta be kidding me. I'd rather learn how to speak dolphin than learn about these unknowledgeable people."

Is he always so very rude? thought Mr. Calamari {A.K.A Mr.Squid}.

" Is this music?" I asked.

" That's enough!" he cried " Go to Mr. Laundry's office"

" Who's that," I questioned, " The the Maid?"

" No" He cried " He's the principal!"

What a funny name, I thought.

I walked down the hall to the principal's office.

Mr. Laundry's office it read.

I knocked on the door.

"Come in," he yelled. I came into the office

"What's the matter, kid?

"My name's Jake not kid"

"Yeah sure kid"

Seriously? He just called me kid, again.

"Look, I have better things to do than talk to you about whatever it is you did and I'm sure you do too," he said. "So just tell me what you did, and we'll get it over with."

Wow! I can't believe he just said that.

I can already tell this is going to be a great year.

The next update will probably be this story continued. Although obviously, I'll be the only one writing it.
