Chapter one ~ First impressions

I woke up this morning to the dreaded sound of my alarm. I considered just laying in bed and letting the day go by, but no, I can't. I groan as I accidentally knock the clock off the table, and it continues to screech at me from the floor. Well today's off to a great start.

I roll of my bed and place the alarm back in place. I walk over to my window and open the curtains. When I look out the window I noticed a lorry parked outside next door. I was confused for a moment before I remembered that we had new neighbours moving in today. I watch in curiosity as a they move boxes into the house. I'd only seen two people so far, a middle aged man, with rugged brown hair who had a goofy smile plastered on his face, and a short woman, with dirty blonde hair.

My father had told me they have two children, one my age and one my younger brothers age, I don't know how he knows that, But they were nowhere to be seen.

I heard a snicker from behind me. "You just gonna stand there all day?" My twin sister Luna was standing in my doorway eating a piece of toast.

"Maybe" I turned my attention back to the neighbours.

"Their kids are probably at school"

"What? It's way too early for school" I turn back to her and realise that she is fully ready for school. Shit.

Luna just laughs and walks away leaving me running around my room frantically trying to get ready.

Luna and I pull into school right on time. We park in our usual space and speed walk into the school. The corridors are packed full of people laughing and messing around, for anyone else it would be near impossible to walk through that hall, but as we walk people move out of the way left and right.

The school I go to, is a school for wolves. Not that normals know that, to them luna and I would just be normal teens, but to everyone here We are the alphas and most of them are either terrified of us or respect us. Of course there are a couple of dudes who want to take our place, but all that have tried, have failed.

We make it to the other end of the hall I see my group of friends and walk towards them. Luna walks forward and wraps her arms round ravens waist and rests her chin on her shoulder. They've been together for almost a year now and they're perfect for eachother. The people I call my friends include;

Raven, she's a bit of a smart ass, she always has something to say. She's also incapable of taking anything seriously, she doesn't stress or worry about anything, she's also very good with machines. She's a beta.

Octavia Blake, she's ravens best friend, she has long brown hair and is pretty short. She's currently in a relationship with someone in college whom none of us have met. She's a beta.

John Murphy, everyone calls him Murphy except emori, the 'clown' of the group, well, the whole school really. None of the teachers like him and he's a bit dumb. He's dating emori, another of my friends. He's also a beta.

Emori d'oliveira, she's the sensible one, she keeps us all from doing stupid things, normally either me or Murphy. She s dating Murphy and is an omega.

Jasper and monty, they're like ridiculously smart, but also stupid at the same time. They're completely inseparable and are basically one person. They're both single and are omegas.

And lastly there's Anya, my best friend, we've known each other basically our whole lives because our parents are very close. Anya is single and a beta. She's also the person I trust most in the world, along with Luna.
