I leave her room and head back to my dorm and see my brother just getting up from his bed getting ready to shower. I simply smile at him and go about my morning knowing hes not awake enough to notice anything. I start humming and getting my uniform on while combing my hair to look semi decent, I look in the mirror and notice the big grin on my face.
"Sky? can you hear me?" I say quietly
"Yes george I can, whats wrong miss me already?" She replys and chuckles
"I always miss you, can I tell Fred about this? I know you wanted to wait and talk to McGonagall before but I cant wipe this smirk off my face and I know my brother will know."
"Ofcourse you can tell him, hes your brother and you guys are still my best friends and that does include him."
"Awe I love you." I then whip around to see Fred come out of the shower.
"Fred I have something to tell you." I say smiling.
"OOOOHHH whats up brother." He says
"Well you remember how I have been obsessed with my soulmate and I told you I knew who it was and wasn't going to tell you well....It's Skylar.....we told each other last night." I look at him with a smile on my face.
"Ayeee I'm so bloody proud of you, this is the perfect match." He slapped my shoulder an continued to get ready. I head to the great hall for breakfast.
I walk through the doors and see her sitting there looking perfect as always laughing at something Ginny said. I shake my head and go sit next to her I put my hand on her thigh under the table her hand goes and holds mine. We both smile.
"Morninggg." I say to everyone.
"Cut the act we know, she told us this morning." Ginny says . Skylar giggles
"I told them right after I told Minerva, which by the way shes fine with it but she said no unsupervised visits to my dorm anymore." She kisses my cheek, it was so nice to have this out in the public though I could tell not everyone was happy.
I looked over to see Angelina staring at us with a pissed off look, I dated her for a hot minute before I knew Skylar was my soulmate. It was nice because I did like her but not as much as Skylar and she started to get slightly posessive of me telling me I couldn't talk to Skylar anymore and at one point she yelled at her for talking to me, for about 6 months skylar and I werent talking and that hurt me so finally I just broke it off I wasn't about to lose my best friend. I turn back to skylar and kiss her full on the lips so everyone knew she was with me because I knew that there were a few stares from guys in her direction from Oliver Wood and Malfoy not like he had a chance with her anyways but still.
"I should probably tell you Minerva told me to keep the PDA to a minimum." She laughs and starts to dig into the food before us.
I start in on the breakfast sausage along with some eggs and milk to go with as well as a few biscuits. Piling my plate high I look over to Skylar and see her with some pancakes bacon and orange juice, shes so freaking cute as she creates a smiley face on her plate. I lean over and kiss her temple. She is technically a Hufflepuff and should be sitting at her house table however she sits with us since were her favorites. I look up at see McGonagal looking at me, I couldn't tell if she was mad or not but all of a sudden she smiles and raises her glass to me. I knew she was telling me i was okay. I relaxed a little and finished eating sneaking glances at her every now and again, she was beautiful and smart and perfect.
"eat your food and stop looking at me." She giggles and continues eating. I look away and simply put my hand on her knee. I just wanted to be close to her I never want to let her go.
After breakfast we went to the library to study because we both have off periods, thats how we used to spend all our time together because her being a year younger she has different classes that me. I was helping her with her charms homework while she was helping me with my defense against the dark arts, I hate that class and Snap hates me but I mean Fred and I do goof off most of the time if I'm being honest. I looked at her as she was explaining something to me that I obviously wasn't understanding so I took the opportunity and put my finger under her chin making her stop what she was doing and look at me.
"I know it's still the beginning of this but I was wondering if you would like to come to the burrow for christmas? I know you've already met mum and dad but I want to introduce you officially as my girlfriend and my soulmate. If thats okay with you?" I wait for her to reply. she looks nervous.
"I would love too! I love Molly I'm excited."
