SHE'D FINISHED APPLYING HER EYELINER AND PUT THE GLOSS ON HER LIPS. SHE LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND WAS PLEASED WITH HOW SHE LOOKED. HER HAIR WAS SLICKED BACK IN A HIGH PONYTAIL AND HER BODY SQUEEZED INTO THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS.
Her mother and father had left her alone for the evening as they had a two-day trip to attend and she'd convinced them she would be fine on her own.
The little, innocent, vixen had been invited to a party with her peers. Her first party. Who was she to turn that down?
The house was buzzing with underaged teenagers, all with more than just a drink in their hands. It seemed to be a typical party but what followed would be far from it.
Like any other teenager there, she'd downed more than her share of alcohol and allowed the buzz to simmer through her body. It made her feel alive.
On the dancefloor, she had the male attention. They watched as her hips swayed to the beat of the music, as her hands roamed up and down her body. She was showcasing what they couldn't have and she was enjoying it.
"Would you like another drink?" A voice called from behind as he snaked an arm around her waist. She turned around and placed her arms around the neck of Silas Reyes. Her eyes glanced down at his hand that held a glass opposed to a plastic cup like everyone else.
Her fingers wrapped around his wrist and she brought the cup up to her lips to take a sip. "Thanks," she said and he smirked.
"What's your name?" He brought his lips to her ear.
"Penny," she whispered.
He offered to take her someplace quieter and she agreed. She was led upstairs and clung onto Silas' hand as her vision blurred. They reached the top of the hallway and he pushed her up against the wall. His lips touched the crook of her neck and kissed up to her jawline. His hands groped her sides as his body pinned her between the wall.
"No," she managed out and he stopped to look at her. His hand opened the door to her left and he dragged her in.
There was a handful of people, older people, sat down in the room around a low table.
"It's cool, it's cool. We'll stay here for a bit," he told her and they sat down. Silas engaged in the conversation going around but she couldn't focus.
His fingers straightened the white substance on the table before it disappeared up his nose. She gasped at the sight but then she felt a sharp pain in her arm. She looked to her right and saw a man with a syringe in his hand and she immediately shot up.
"What?" She was confused.
Silas stood up beside her to steady her. "Let's go," he helped her out of the room and into another one which seemed to belong to him.
"He... give me..." She couldn't form a sentence. She wasn't in control.
"I'll give you something," His hand ripped open her dress and his skin was on hers.
Her arms were simply limp, unable to move. She was defenceless and wished for it to be quick.
It was. Painful but at least it was over for her. Her neck was engulfed by his tight grip. She was gasping for air but he showed no mercy towards her. Despite the disgusting things he was doing to her, he didn't realise her apparent struggle to breathe.
He didn't realise her struggle until he woke up to a still body. The only person he could think of to call was Dean.
The two of them dug a deep hole in the garden by the roses and deposited the pieces of her body in the dirt.
Now you know why the roses grow so red.
