The New Girl (Kirumaki)

3rd POV:

"Kirumi?"

"Maki, What's wrong, what has happened? I was eating lunch and Peko said she saw you run, and Peko told me you normally come up here if you're mad or in a bad mood. Can you get away from the edge?"

"Oh yeah, Sorry, I feel a bit better when I can see the view from here." Maki got up and walked over to Kirumi.

"Now will you tell me what happened?"

"I will but first what did Kaito warn you about? I ran into Kaito and Kokichi in the Cafeteria and they gave me trouble, enough that they almost made me explode with anger. And before I ran to the roof he said he ran into you earlier and warned you to stay away from me. Did he give you a reason why?"

"No, He just said something like 'I can tell Maki likes you, so stay away from her.' and he said that once I get to know you better I probably wouldn't want to be around you anymore. Even though you and Peko are some of the nicest people I have met. I told Kaito it would be my decision if I wanted to be your friend or not, He can't control me."

"Well do you wanna know what he was trying to warn you about?"

"Sure, but if you don't want to say it you don't have to."

"I'll tell you about myself. Let's sit down, It will probably be a lot to take in."

Kirumi and Maki went over to the edge of the roof and sat down. Kirumi was a little scared by being near the ledge but Maki reassured her.

"Okay, where to start. Well, I was raised in an orphanage. I don't know who my parents are, I had to take care of the younger kids. They loved me, But I didn't like them back. Eventually these men in a limo came one day and took a few kids and trained them to be assassins. I was one of them. One day I was hired by Fuyuhiko's family to get rid of an enemy that was against the Kuzuryu clan. That was where I met Fuyuhiko and Peko. Peko calls Fuyuhiko Master, because ever since they were born Peko was raised to be Fuyuhikos bodyguard. Anyway, since I did the first mission really well, they kept hiring me, eventually they took me in, and I was raised with both Peko and Fuyuhiko. I see them as my Brother and sister. Fuyuhiko yelled at Peko at the beginning of the school year to stop following him around and for her to be an actual student and not a tool. So instead of her being around him, besides at lunch and at home of course, she sticks by me, Peko's personality has shown a lot more this year. We also walk to school together, walk home, do Missions, all kinds of stuff together. Especially like this morning when Peko was teasing me this morning. I Don't talk to people much and I'm shy. But for some reason when you came along I'm able to open up like this. I don't know what you've done to make me like this. So yeah Thats basically it I think. I'm basically an assassin, Kaito doesn't like that about me, same for Kokichi. That's the reason why I had an Ice pack earlier. I threw it away when I got up here. Kokichi hit me in the head with a soccer ball earlier in Gym. Peko thinks that he's aiming at me on purpose, and I agree, but I deal with it. Another thing that happened earlier was after we saw each other in the cafeteria, I got in line to get Lunch and Kaito and Kokichi saw me and walked towards me. They started talking about you and I got defensive, I don't understand why I'm guessing no offence, but I get this weak kinda aura around you, and I have the need to protect you. Sorry I'm talking nonsense."

"Maki, I'm glad you told me all of that. I understand why you did that. I was pushed around at my last school a bunch and I didn't really stand up for myself. So I understand why you had the need to protect me. Thanks for that."

"No, Thank you. I've never talked to anyone like that before, and Thank you for calming me down and listening to me. We should probably head on back before people wonder where we went."
