Shattered Souls (Ciel x Alois)

CHAPTER 2 - THE BOY

(A/N 2 chapters in one day?! I must be mad! I really like writing this so vote for it so I know you like reading it too!!! Love you my pretty little cauliflowers ❤)

"A-a-lois Tran-cy?" I muttered.
"Alive?"

Sebastian was standing by my bedside, a toothy grin on his angled face.

"Yes, my lord"

I jumped in shock. "SEBASTIAN!" I yelled at him. I hated feeling scared or vulnerable, and he was making me feel very nervous.

"What is the matter young master?" he said, slyly, with a sparkle in his red eyes.
"I thought you were going to be away for a while?"
"I was, but then I realised I had made a mistake"
"What mistake?"

He just sat down on my bed and said nothing. I was beginning to become annoyed at him.

"Tell me Sebastian!"

"It's going to upset you"

I stopped. Did I really want to hear what he had to say?
"SEBASTIAN THIS IS AN ORDER! WHAT IS IT? "

"There is only one person who loved Alois" the tall demon muttered.

"WHO?" I screamed at him.

"You, my lord"

My breath hitched and the room started to spin.

How did Sebastian know of my true feelings towards Alois? I had never told anyone. I had to keep my good reputation as Lady Elizabeth's betrothed.

But then... Alois could be saved.

"So what if I do?" I growled at him. "Then you need to come with me"

He picked me up and jumped out of the window. We ran to the clifftop where Alois died.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw tiny glittering blue and purple crystals on a rock below.

"Sebastian, what are those?"
"What are what?"
"Those crystals"

For once in my life, I saw that Sebastian was confused.

"I'm afraid I don't see any crystals young master"

Now it was my turn to look puzzled. "But they're everywhere!"

Suddenly Sebastian jumped off of the clifftop. I looked down to see the raven haired man picking up the crystals.

He leapt gracefully back up to the rocky ledge I was standing on.

"Am I holding any crystals?" He said, turning to drop them at my feet.
"Yes, you collected them all"
"I need you to touch them"
"What? Why?"
I bent down to scoop them up. A tingling sensation ran up my arm.

"You are holding the soul of Alois Trancy"

The crystals began to fuse into a sparkling blue spider shape. I felt warmth spread around me. The first smile in three years made my cheeks ache.

"So shall I do with this Sebastian?"
"We just need to search for the body"
"Do it then. NOW"
"Yes, my lord" he put his hand on his chest and bowed.

Jumping again off the cliff, and into the freezing ocean.

I waited for 2 hours, I would have frozen to death if I wasn't a demon. The mist around me was condensing on my bluish hair and I was shivering uncontrollably.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I spun around to see Sebastian carrying someone.

Alois's body was limp and lifeless. The colour drained from his cheeks. His usually sparkling eyes were a dull blue.

I got the spider crystal out of my pocket.

"Place it on his chest" Sebastian spoke.

I tucked it under his shirt, feeling his slender body as I did so.
I hovered over him, almost lying on top of him. I held the crystal onto his chest.

Strangely, I felt heat surge around me once more. His cheeks were turning a light pink colour and his eyes were flickering.

I just stared into the bright blue pools of the boy in front of me.

"Are you okay?" Sebastian asked me, without any genuine emotion

That's when I started to cry. I closed my eyes and confessed everything I had been feeling for the past 3 years out loud.

"I love you Alois. Your silky blonde hair, your smile, your laugh, even the glint in your eyes when you hurt someone. I've missed you more than I missed my parents. All I need is you."

A tear ran down my face and landed on his perfectly shaped nose.

I felt someone wipe the tears from my face. I was too scared to open my eyes, knowing that Alois had possibly heard everything I had just said.

I felt someone brush past my cheek. My heart was beating at an alarming rate. They whispered in my ear.

"Hello, Ciel Phantomhive."

I stood up with shock. Although it was too fast and I fell to the ground dizzily. Opening my blurry eyes I saw a young blonde staring at me.

Then everything went black.
