This request was a "vintage styled" so i didn't have to do much photo manipulation like putting two characters together and adding a lot of elements in. I found a photo that I felt was perfect to give that vintage vibe and adjusted its colors to fit the vintage aesthetic.
I was going to make it a worn out brown color at first like most vintage photos but I settled with a slightly brown black and white palette since i added little torn pieces of it on the sides of the photo and the background for it was kraft paper. I also added a few overlays to really give out old photo vibes on it.
The title and the author part is handwritten, as well as the request to put the date 12 July, 1957 on it. I decided to choose white as the color for the title and author then black for the date to make it seem like the hand written date is in fact part of the picture.
