Minho walked down the hall, his black shoes sounded like heels on the title floors. He was walking fairly fast to get to the elevator and back to the safety of his office, only to fill out more papers which have most likely multiplied since the last time he was in there.

Minho clicked the button which took him to his floor. The doors slid open, people exited the elevator and people entered then the doors closed again. Minho walked at a normal pace at this point, not as eager to get to his office anymore. He opened his door and sat at his desk, preparing to fill out this what looked like mountains of paper.

" ''I'll take some of the load off'' my ass." He mocked.

The boy was only 22 and felt like he'd spent 50 years working in this hell hole. He hated this job, but rarely ever admitted it.

He looked at the clock on the wall, remembering it didn't work so he had to stop writing and check his watch.

7:35 PM.

It's been an hour since his meeting with Mr. Kim and his shift was over in 30 minutes. He rushed to finish this big packet of paper so he could leave as soon as possible. When he finished, he put his packets he'd done that day on the floor and left, locking his door.

He said goodbye to Yeji on the first floor and walked through the spinning glass door's and walked down the same street, at the same hour, with pretty much the same clothes on as he always does.

same.

Minho felt like he's living the same day as he did yesterday, plus the visit to Mr. Kim. He felt he needed change. He walked around look at small stores he normally passes by, but never enters until he got to this beautiful, small coffee shop across the street. He walked to the end of the street, and crossed the road when the meter said he could and paced his way to the mahogany brick coffee shop he must've walked by a billion times. He stood in front of the door and contemplated if he should even go in, until his stomach started growling, which pretty much answered his question. After a quick breath of the delicious smelling air from the open windows, he opened the door and a small bell rang.

A bunch of people were sat at tables, and booths and window seats. Many people had people with them, conversations being held. Minho smiled at the sight and unconsciously walked to the counter and looked at the chalk board with everything they have on their menu.

"Hi, how can I help you today?" a medium tone voice asked.

Minho looked straight at the boy talking in front of him after looking for a few minutes. He still didn't full know what to get but that's not exactly where his mind was at the time.

"Uh.. what's your favorite thing here, I've never been here before." he asked. The boy behind the counter simply smiled and touched the computer in front of him a few times. "Your order will be with you in a moment sir." he said trying to hold back a small laugh. Minho was completely taken back. "What?" he asked purely shocked. "I didn't order anything though." The boy just smiled again.

"No, I know that but you asked what my favorite thing was so I just placed your order off of that. It'll be ready in a few moments." Minho just stared blankly at the boy. "Oh- uh thank you. How much?" he asked. "On the house." the boy simply said before walking to the back and came out with a small cup, and a white bag. He sat it on the counter and smiled at Minho. "No really, how much?" Minho asked again. "I just said on the house, did I not? It's free food." Minho was dumbfounded. "Thank you." Minho barely let out, still shocked.

The boy behind the counter just nodded, and smiled. "Have a good day." he said. "You too" Minho said back before turning on his heels and leaving, taking a sip of what he expected was hot chocolate. He coughed a little bit but still swallowed the drink after realizing it was an iced americano. Nonetheless he still drank it all on his way back to his apartment building.

When he entered his apartment he quickly took off his shoes, then his black lace up trench coat he was wearing, and hung it up. Minho walked over to the couch with the white bag the boy in the coffee shop gave him and opened it to reveal a slice of cheesecake with granola edging. He opened the container it was in, turned on a movie and watched it for the rest of the night, before falling asleep on the couch.
