'' where am I? '' the short boys voice echoed through a long, dark hallway of nothingness.

'' Hello? ''  this voice echoed once more until subtle footsteps of what sounded to be like leather shoes tapping on hard wood floors.

'' You're awake, finally '' a deep voice was heard from the shadow in the distance. Suddenly multiple lanterns lit up the hallway, still not showing the mysterious figure  from the darkness. Jisung was in utter fear as to what was going to happen to him, or what he might see. Mindlessly, he closed his eyes and held them tight until he heard footsteps. It scared him utterly to the core but still kept his eyes closed. '' what the hell do you want from me?! '' Jisung shouts at the man of the dark.

Jisung shot up from the position he was laying in, with cold sweats running down his forehead, as he was trying to catch his breath. He looked around the room and noticed he was back in his own bed, with wind howling against the window. "What the hell was that.." Jisung said as he finally got his breath back. He looked at his phone and noticed the time was only 1:29 am. Jisung sighed, tossing his phone somewhere in the bed, as he laid back. He stared up at the ceiling until his eyes fell heavy and Jisung was back in the realm of dreams and nightmares.

9:37 AM

.

Jisung woke up to his roommate shaking him awake "Jisung" Changbin repeated, constantly. "mmmfgh.. what Binnie?" Jisung said rolling over on his side before sitting up, rubbing his eyes. "Your late for work again" Changbin said, sounding a little irritated, but clearly trying to hide it. "Dammit.." Jisung  threw his covers off of him, running to his wardrobe to grab clothes and go into his bathroom to change into them. He ran out of the bathroom, trying to slide his shoes on while putting on his sweatshirt.

Jisung made out of the door looking just fine, but he quickly walked if not ran to the mahogany red brick coffee shop he's worked at for 3 years. All he could think about was if he could be fired, or suspended from his job for being late for the third time this month. Other thoughts fought in the back of his mind, but his main focus was his job. It had been more say a week since the last time Minho and Jisung has seen each other, but Jisung didn't really mind since he was just some stranger that he had gotten close to because of the café.

Jisung got to the café and ran to the back, to quickly put on his apron and name tag, to get to the front counter so he could take rushed, rude peoples orders.

Minho woke up on his side, staring straight at a grey cat curled up next to him. He pat the cats head before sitting up and rubbing his eyes. The dark hair boy got out of bed and went into the kitchen to cook breakfast, having a super simple meal since he doesn't really know how to cook. Dahyun was the cook but wasn't really ever home so Minho had to learn some things here and there, and knew some extremely easy things from childhood since his parents were never home. Thoughts drowned Minho's head as he ate at the couch, half-ass watching tv. All Minho could think about how his entire life he's pretty much always been alone. As a child his parents were busy people, so always on trips out of the country, or at work. They only ever came home very late at night, leaving Minho by himself. When Minho has Dahyun leaving with him, she was almost always at the hospital or asleep. Maybe eventually out with friends on her day off but rarely ever home living the younger at home with his three cats. Now that he and Dahyun are no longer living together, he's actually alone. He just has Sooni, Doongi and Dori, which he doesn't mind since he's learned to get used to it.

The dark haired boy finished eating, and sat his plate in the sink before going to his bedroom to change into some clothing and leave the apartment. Minho just wonders the streets, deciding where to go. It had been days since he's last been to the café, but at the moment he wasn't in the mood for coffee. He wondered around window shopping some small and rather large stores here and there. By the time he went into a store and actually bought something, he'd been walking an hour. Minho decided he should go to the café since he was getting thirsty. The boy made his way to the mahogany red brick coffee shop, and sat his stuff at a window seat. He got in line and waited to order.

"Hi, how can I help you?" the female at the counter asked.

Minho ordered what he normally does now, just minus the donut since he wasn't hungry. He went to sit down with his coffee and just scrolled through a few social media platforms, sipping on his hot coffee. He was staring out the window, zoned out until he felt a tap on his shoulder which brought him back to reality.

"Yes?" Minho said, turning his head to see who has tapped his shoulder. Nonetheless it was the short, blonde haired boy he'd so happen to get close to because of this place. "Hi!" Jisung said with a bright smile. "Oh hi" Minho said, moving to face himself towards the other. Jisung's smile slowly faded naturally as he conversed with Minho a little bit.

They chatted for felt like hours and Jisung thought of a bright idea. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park today or something." he asked. Minho shrugged, and thought about it for a minute. "Sure, I really have nothing better to do." He answered, sipping his coffee looking out the window again. Jisung just let off smiled as he turned on his heels and went back to behind the counter.

Hours passed without Jisung even realizing. Minho had gone home ages ago and Jisung was busy working to not even notice.
