Resurgent- Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Player is alive.

He's not even hurt.

How?

Then, I hear rustling behind me.

"Hey, Tris. Nice to see you. But you're gonna die anyway," the person says.

It's Will.
Again.

He takes out a knife and tries to stab me. I dodge and shoot. Will also dodges it. He then throws the knife. It gets wedged between some bricks about 2 centimeters from my ear.

"YOU F*CKING-" I scream.

"TRIS!! YOU FOOL! WHAT DID YOU THINK? HU? WHAT...what..."

As Will says the last word, there's a BANG.

Will's face shrivels up. His whole body shrivels up until he's just a mass of flesh and bones.

"Now that wasn't part of the plan," Player says.

"WHAT- WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!" I scream.

"Well, he's dead, see? I killed him. He was useless anyway."

I am horrified by what that weapon can do.

"Well Tris, if you don't behave well, I'm afraid that I will have to shoot you," He says. "Follow me."
