'Pant!' 'Huff!' 'Huff!'
'Whine!'
"How many more frickin' boxes are there!?"
"Calm down,Ruby. That's the last of the boxes,"I chuckled, putting down my load before I unloaded the boxes from her back. I took out a hammer and started whacking the planks and logs.
Soon enough,I had the stands built. Ruby harrumphed at me,flicking her ears at the stands.
'Harrumph!'
"Wow! You can really do D.I.Y! "
"Sure. If not,why would I be building this?"I replied, stroking her back. I hung up the sign. And I give Ruby a wayside glance. She handed me the prices.
"You really want to put them these high?"I chuckled, patting her nose as a tease.
'Whine!'
"Okay! You know I have no knowledge about mathematics!"
"Its okay. I'll cut them down a bit,"I smiled, crossing off the expensive prices and knocking them off to reasonable ones.
I set one box down. Inside, were me and my Granny Gnu's famous biscotti bars. She is far too old to make the recipe or get the ingridients so she passed it on to me.
I can't wait to pass her the money! She will be so happy! There were three flavours. Pumpkin. Vanilla. And milk chocalate.
'Neigh!'
"You think we can get buisness booming? "
"Sure! No one can resist Granny Gnu's recipe!"I smiled, kissing her cheek, feeling her nuzzle back. It was quite true, actually. Granny Gnu was favorited by all the wildlife for her biscuits.
And customers started to trickle. Like never ending waterfalls. And when the day was done,I had a lot of dough! Won't Granny Gnu be pleased when I hand over the money?
THE END...
