The next morning

Nathalie pov:
  It was 5:30am as my alarm went off I quickly got up and started my routine but today felt so much...different. I couldn't focus on anything because my only thoughts were why Gabriel wanted to move on?! What if my plan doesn't work and he things its stupid or worse, thinks im stupid. No no dont think like that I said to myself as I looked in the mirror. Its gonna be a good day...i hope. After I finished getting ready it was around 6:30am i hurried downstairs to make sure the chefs had the Agreste breakfast perped and Adriens school bag by the door. After I did all that I grabed one of the iced coffees from the fridge and went to my computer to work on a few emails and stuff like that.

Gabriel pov:
  Todays the day I told myself as I got out of bed heading towards the bathroom. I took a look and the mirror trying to think how today would go, would it be a success? Will I finally know when or if ill have Emile back? As these thoughts ran across my mind I finished getting ready and headed downstairs to be greated by Nathalie.

3rd person pov:
  "Good morning Nathalie" Gabriel said walking towards her
  "Good morning sir. Slept well i hope?"
  "Oh yeah, what about you?" He answered
  "Pretty good" Nathalie lied, in reality she really couldn't sleep all to well bc she kept thinking about later
  "Good morning Nathalie! Morning father!"
  They both turned their heads to see Adrien walking towards the kitchen
  "Morning Adrien." Gabriel said
  "Good morning Adrien, breakfast is in the table but you better hurry because you have to leave in 15min" Nathalie said
  "Oh I know! I actually have a friend comming over to meet me here so we can walk together!" Adrien said as he was finishing his pop tart
*knocking noise*
  "Oh that must be her!" Adrien said as he slid to the door
  Curious to know who it was Gabriel folllowed shortly behind
  Adrien opened the door to reveal a girl with dark blue pig tails and blueish/greenish eyes
  "Oh father I dont think you've really met her yet! This is my good friend Mairentte!"
  "Its great to finally meet you sir!" She said in a nervous tone
  "Nice to meet you to Mairentte." Gabriel replied
  "Well we better get going before were late, bye father!" Adrien said as he left closing the door behind himself.
  "Are you ready for today sir?" Nathalie asked
  "I think so. I just cant wait to figure out if its really worth the fight or not." Gabriel said taking a sip of his coffee
  "What would you do if shes not back tho?" Nathalie asked curious to see what he would say in response
  "Well being that it would be confirmed to not work most likely return the miraculous and move on and try to find new love again." He responsed

Wow- theres actually people reading my story! Well hello hello fellow gabenath simps I mean shippers! This is chapter 2 also would like to mention the next few chapters is where its gonna get interesting! I mainly released this chapter to give filler and a lil bit of flavor to the story lmao.
