Stars twinkling so bright, sound of the crickets, the faint light of the moon bathing their forms along with the dim lights of the lamp posts and the quiet conversation between the two made the walk comfortable.

Oikawa's mind lingered back to the spirit world. The place in between life and death. The form of the dreadful creature they encountered never fails to make him shiver in fear.

Then his eyes focused on the Girl beside him. She's a very petite yet very powerful girl, both physical and emotional. The brown waist length of her made swayed with the cold night wind. He smiled softly.

'She's really interesting..' he thought.

"--So Oikawa-san.. I want to talk about what happened earlier.." She lowered her head. "Keep the medallion I gave you earlier.." She said facing him while flashing her toothy grin.

"Uh.. Is it okay? I mean it's from your great grandmother.." He scratched his face.

"It's fine.. I have a lot of medallions.."She shrugged.

"Do you face those creatures often?" He asked looking at her thinking form

"Hm.. No, that's my first time actually.." She said facing him walking backwards.

Oikawa flashed her a confused look. She let out a chuckle clutching her stomach.

"What? You don't believe me huh?" she turned around back facing him again. "Well.. I deal with souls who had trouble with--I don't know? Everything?" She smiled awkwardly.
"I often help those souls who wants to talk with their loved ones before they went up there.."

"That's.. Cool, you didn't even look scared at all earlier.." He chuckled.

"Why? I don't have to be afraid.. Grandmother said God is always watching and helping me! There's no reason to be afraid of anything If I had him with me here.." She said placing her hands on her chest.

"Yeah.." silence. "Uh.. When did you start to realize that you have.. A gift?" Toru asked.

"Hmm.. Back when I was just a 5 years old brat," She smiled remembering the scene. "I remember that I'm playing with my cousin that time," she closed her eyes. "I asked 'who's that girl? She's waving here! Let's play with her!'" Kana said imitating a child's voice.
"Then it turns out she's not real.."

"That's creepy.." Oikawa said hugging himself.

"It is right?" She laughed. "But I'm thankful with that experience.." her voice became soft. "I told grandma what I saw that day.. Then she introduce me to our Creator.." Oikawa looked at the girl with a smile plastered across her face. "Then she said I'm special! She told me that I have a beautiful gift that I can use to help others.. She said that I have an angel watching over me since the first time I open my eyes too."

"Can you see it? Your guardian?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah.. He's with me all the time and every mission I take." She gave him a thumbs up.

"That's so cool!" Toru grinned.

"How about you Oikawa-san? I don't know anything about you except being a volleyball player and a third year student." She asked curiously.

"Hm.. Let's see.. My favourite food is milk bread. I teach volleyball when I have free time. I have a very annoying nephew which I baby sit a lot. I went to Kitagawa-daiichi. I'm awarded as the best setter before I graduated middle school. I'm the captain of our school's boy's volleyball club. A ladies man of course! And my motto is--"

"If you're going to hit it, hit it until it breaks!" They said in unison.

"Right?" She chuckled.

"Yes. I never knew you're a fan of mine Michi-chan!" Oikawa smirked.

"I Happen to overheard it before when I'm passing by a group of girls." She said making him smirk more.

"Aww.. No need to deny it Michi-chan!" He teased her.

"Whatever makes you sleep peacefully at night.." She rolled her eyes.

"I noticed that your behaviour shift quickly.. Are you bipolar or what?" He asked again.

"No I'm not.. It's just, I can feel their pain and sorrow when I went near them." She explained. "That's why my face falls down!" She said.

"So why did you recruit us?Based on what I've seen earlier, you can do it all by yourself." Oikawa asked

"Well, I need someone who can keep my body safe when I enter the spirit world!" She replied plainly.

"Eh? That's your reason? Why won't you recruit girls?" He asked

"Uhm.. You see, I'm not a talkative person." She smiled sheepishly.

"That's not what it looks like to me though.." He eyed her.

"Well you see, I'm bullied for being 'weird' so I don't have someone to talk to.." She smiled sadly.

"Not anymore.. You have us!" Toru gave her a thumbs up. "So the camera is just a props?"

"Uhuh..." She hummed in agreement.

"Is the club registered legally?"

"No.. I often spend time alone inside one of those empty clubroom there on that abandoned building." She said.

"Is that even allowed?" Toru asked curiously.

"I helped the school guard before.. So having a permission to access the building is just an easy thing!" She laughed hysterically. "Thanks for walking me home Oikawa-san.." She bowed.

"That's not a problem... So I'll see you later?" He asked.

"Yeah.. See you later.." She said watching his retreating form. "And uhm.. Oikawa-san? The medallion will show you the way.."

"Huh?" He face her again.

"Nothing just.. Be careful I guess? See you later Oikawa-san!" She wave at him.

'Cute..' He thought smiling to himself.
