#19 Rescue pt.2

Midoriya's point of view:

I looked at Todoroki, his face looked different than always, it was not his fighting face, it was his guilty face, what was he thinking? Anyways, it wasn't time to think about something else now, we have to get Kacchan and will see about him later, but will have to. Yao-Momo got us to the place through her tracker. It was not at all what we expected, it was a small house in between of many, like a duplex in a society, what the heck were these people? I was about to take another step but Todoroki pulled me back, "Yaoyorozu, this isn't what it looks like...Can you maybe create something like which sees through illusions?" Okay so this is an illusions? Soon we were all wearing illusion-vision glasses, and there it was, it was an empty place with what seemed like a broken go-down. 

"I doubt there are many people around this time. Let's do one thing, Kirishima and Yaoyorozu go knock at the door saying that you live next doors and need to borrow something because y'all ran out of it. Meanwhile, as we saw the map, we'll sneak out of the backdoor and free Kacchan cause obviously he will be tied, next is sneaking out, if Kacchan is sleeping then Iida can carry him out speedily. Todoroki stays here to make sure there is no trouble happening. Aim is to get Kacchan out before they open the door to Kirishima and Yaoyorozu. Kaminari will cut off electricity so that the faces aren't revealed. If there is any sort of signal of trouble, Todoroki will manage it. We need to keep it clean and safe." I said, Iida nodded, Kirishima and Yaoyorozu looked at each other and Kaminari gave a cheerful thumbs up, Todoroki on the other hand was just looking down.

I opened my mouth to say something as we all jumped up, there was a big explosion, "Bakugo-" Kaminari and Kirishima said in unison, it seemed like a fight was taking place and we looked up at with horrified faces. We could hear him, "GET AWAY YOU FILTHY MONSTERS, YOU ARE NOT DEKU- YOU ARE NOT KIRISHIMA, NOT TO-FUCK OFF!" As there were more explosions. Iida pulled us to hide, "He is freed, and without the glasses, nothing is happening, so we can forward with the plan, but Midoriya and I can fly rather not fly but give a burst, Todoroki can give a high level of ice so that we reach a height, someone needs to call Bakugou up, if...it's a very if there, but of he comes, then we can run. Other's, make sure y'all don't get yourselves revealed and run" He said fast and recklessly. 

"YES, GOT IT!" Kaminari quickly cut off and it was dark, "Todoroki please call him, he needs to listen, he needs to come" Todoroki...was he listening, his face was changing, he looked so very different yet again, "FUCKING GO AWAY OR I'LL KILL YOU, I'M KILLING YOU ANYWAYS!" There were more explosions, we nodded. Todoroki's ice went up and a great height. Yaoyorozu had knocked and sneaked off the place. "ONE...TWO...THREE!! SMASHHHH!!!" I screamed and went off, "RECIPRO BURST!" Iida said as we got up with Kirishima and followed by Todoroki and glared down at Todoroki, "CALL HIM?" He looked at Kacchan, call him, why aren't you? He raised his and and opened his mouth, "IDIOT, COME!!" Kirishima called as he gave him hand. 

I didn't know how to react. Kacchan forced his hands down and gave a burst as his explosions pushed him up, he grabbed Kirishima's hand, we could see Yaoyorozu and Kaminari sneak out and run away. Also, I saw Todoroki's hand drop, there was a shadow around his eyes...he...didn't call him. But Kacchan was back.

We reached the dorm safe. Of course Kacchan yelled at us that we didn't save him and stuff, but we all were happy he was back. Kirishima hugged him, he hugged him back, he even smiled back at me, then of course said, "Get out of my fucking way, Deku" and went inside his dorm. But as soon as we reached the dorm, one person, Todoroki, immediately left to head towards his room, he didn't talk to us or Kacchan...he wasn't okay. He was separating himself, he couldn't call Kacchan. What was going through his mind? What was he thinking? 

At night, I woke up to go to the common room and get my bad which I left there, I had to cross Todoroki's room...and, it wasn't peaceful. I stopped dead and leaned against it, I didn't want to interfere but my legs wouldn't move, his voice was rough, he was talking to himself, he was...crying. There was sound of things being broken. After a while which seemed like forever, it was all silent again, other than soft cries, I stood there, without knowing how to react, what to do. I just stood on the other side of the door realizing someone was not okay, far from okay on the other side. What...why...was he doing-?

Later that morning I thought of talking to him before class, we all had our breakfast in the common room and Todoroki and Kacchan both were there. Todoroki sitting alone away from us and Kacchan while Kacchan was with Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero. He looked over at him once in a while but didn't do anything about it. Once Kirishima and my eyes met, he frowned as in asking me what was wrong while I nodded as in 'I don't know'. Todoroki didn't look anywhere other than his phone. What caused this distance between them? It's like they both won't talk to each other. We all left for class as i saw Kacchan stay back, and he stopped Todoroki to stay back as well. I...couldn't help but stay back.

They both looked at each other, My feet were shaking, I was against the wall, if things went out of hand, I'll make sure to stop them, but...what was it?
