#27 Family Reunion pt.2

Todoroki's point of view:

It felt so different, I have never had such an atmosphere in my house, and having everyone around like this, Toya, even he was here. I know we have to go different ways, but at this point having him around was all that mattered. I smiled at my family, as I looked at them from the back from the room when I was getting the food, I felt a tear slide down my cheek, then a touch of a warm hand which wiped it off, I turned to see Bakugou, "Don't shed those anymore dumbass, that's the last thing I want to see." he said as he started to serve with Fuyumi. I smiled to myself, he was one of a guy.

"What are y'all doing later?" Hawks asked, then before waiting for a reply he added, "Let's say, we watch a movie after lunch and then a small party from him and me, we have a surprise?" He pointed at Toya, then he looked at Bakugou, "What do you think, blasty kid?" Bakugou who was quietly enjoying his food sitting beside me added, "Absolutely, sounds cool." Man he was being so different today, am I the only one who gets to see this form of him? I want to be the only one. "Help us out then." Bakugou nodded.

After washing dishes and cleaning up, they played a movie, Hawks and Dabi were sitting together. Fuyumi and mom, my old man at the back, Natsu with his girlfriend and Bakugou beside me. I clearly saw the two couples steal kisses in between when they saw no one was seeing, well I was. "Oi, Todoroki-" Bakugou asked as almost everyone in the room looked at him, a smirk broke out my lips, "I mean-" he looked at me and mouthed the word 'bitch' at my smirk, "You can call me Shoto." There was a moment of silence as a smile came on his face, "Guess I'm Katsuki for you then." We looked at each other then he whispered, "Everyone is being a couple, don't you think...we...aren't-...?" he raised an eyebrow as I nodded. 

He softly came close and pecked my lip, I never noticed all this while how soft and warm his lips were. And I could clearly see the others smiling, fuck I felt my cheeks being dusted with pink dust. I didn't realize when we were cuddled close to each other, he was asleep on my shoulder, I kissed his cheek as I noticed his palm, a scar, so deep, what caused this one, this is caused by extreme overuse of his quirk obviously, I kissed on it before pulling him closer and wrapping my arms around his waist. This was peaceful.

At about five, we were pushed out of the house, Hawks, Toya and Bakugou stayed, maybe i was about the surprise, I wasn't sure of leaving Bakugou with them, but he assured me, so did my old man, and I have no other option but to trust them. But before leaving, I pulled Bakugou by his waist and kissed him, fuck this I feel like a real couple, "Anything goes wrong, anything you feel uneasy about, I'll come back faster than anything, you will be fine." He kissed me back and smiled at me, I haven't seen this smile for so long, damn how magical this is. "Don't make me sound like I need your help. I'll protect myself and nothing will happen. Enjoy." I swear my mind went 'cnivbgeivb'.

I kept checking my phone before Natsu pointed it out, "Someone misses his boyfriend too much, aw man you young boys in love." I kept away my phone and looked away, not.in.love, not.at.all, fuck it, why does saying it feel so bad? We went around the market, Natsu's girlfriend had a conversation with me and I like her, she even bought me cold soba. We went around the fair and tried out a few other stuff. I heard my phone beep and instantly jumped just to receive a snap from Bakugou, he sent a picture of Hawks, Toya and him in the doggy filter doing some stuff. I smiled and sent one back with all of us in the black hearts filter, well...only to realize this must be our first. 

At about seven passed thirty minutes, we headed back home,. As we got home, the backyard was decorated with fairy lights and lanterns of yellow, orange and red and with blue ones in between, there were candles around, and what I figured were roses, even blue ones just like mom liked them. They played soft music, there was a sweet smell, maybe of freshly baked cookies and some spicy fries. There was a piece which looked like a guitar with 'Todoroki's' carved on it.

"Fuyumi, there's someone here, to meet you." Toya said as I found a guy standing at the back, Fuyumi's expression changed, she gasped and covered her mouth, she muttered his name as he came in front of her, kneeling down, oh my God, is he proposing? I've never seen someone, wait he's proposing to my sister, he started speaking, "Fuyumi, I have always found myself burning, but you balance me, you cool me down, you complete me, yes, I am incomplete without you, I can never thank you enough for all you have done for me, but I want to love you forever with all of me." She was almost in tears, "Will you...marry me?" WHAT THE FUCK I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER BEEN THIS EXCITED, WHAT WILL SHE SAY? She looked at mom and my old man as they nodded and she hugged him, and said something which I figured must be a yes. The guy looked strong and responsible, and like a diligent citizen, if he is not, I believe Fuyumi is enough to teach him a good lesson, with three brothers who has her back. All my siblings are in love, that warms my whole heart, never felt that before.

We raised a toast for the new couple, I have never seen all of them smile together, this way ever before. I am this close to breaking down, is this for real? Toya patted my head, "Look how strong you have become Shoto." I looked up at him, "So have you." We both smiled at each other, I remember him telling me this before he ran away, he told me that I had gotten stronger and I had the same reply I gave now, he even told me that I'll grow stronger, "You'll grow stronger." He said looking at front. I smiled, yes, I will. 

Hawks and Toya were dancing to the music now, so were Natsu with his girlfriend and Fuyumi with her fiance.

I felt my whole body shaking, the scenery, the whole fucking atmosphere was the most beautiful one I've ever seen, I felt a hand being forwarded in front of me, "Will you dance with me, prince Shoto?" A smile instantly came on his voice at the rough and heavy voice, the blonde male was standing in front of him. He took his hand as they made their way in between the three other couples, the song playing now was 'Backyard boy.'

He spun me once and I did it the other time, he had his arm on my waist and me the other time, we could easily switch, towards the end, he lifted me up by my waist, firstly how the heck did he lift me up so easily? Secondly, as I saw the lights reflect on his eyes, I felt my heart skip a beat, how beautiful this was, and how beautiful he was.
