. . .

There was something about flying that sent a small panic down my spine, everyone on this plane could die any minute. You could say I have an obsession with death but I would rather die In any other way than a plane crash.

I held the file in my hand reading over it more times than I can count but still I've been stuck on the same page since I got on the plane. Lucy dropped me off at the airport, I wasn't much of a hugger but I held on to her for dear life before getting on the plane.

She promised to take care of my car; light, while searching for her father. I wanted her to come with me but she refused she said some bullshit like "spend quality time with your family," and all that other nonsense.

The plane shook a little bit, my eyes flutter shut and my hand tighten around the file and the seat.

"Are you okay?" the voice made me open my eyes slightly, I'd forgotten about the man next to me, he was older and from the way, the words rolled off his tongue I'm sure he was Latin.

"I'm fine, just never flew before," I answer truthfully, glancing up at him.

He had dark hair with gray roots, a smile touch his lips and the wrinkles in the corners of his eyes were more visible.

From the side, he looks like Killian; my father, in the file it didnt mention if he has any siblings but it also didnt mention of my mother has any either.

His eyes dart down the file in my hand, I laid it flat on my lap and tapped my fingernails against it.

"There is nothing to be scared of, the worst that could happen is that we suddenly disappear and return five years later," He grin, rolling my eyes I shook my head getting a look at the tattoo on his neck, I saw it before.

"Very funny," I laughed but still my mind was racing, I wasn't scared of many things, I just killed some men and my heart is racing at a little turbulence.

The flight attendant walked over asking us for anything to drink, "Whisky," he answered.

"And you?" she looked over to me, shrugging, "you dont think you can get me some vodka for the ride?"

Her eyes widen and he started to laugh, I wasn't joking nor did I find this funny, I could use a drink after the twenty-four hours I had, and I dont even drink that says so much.

"I'm sorry I can't, although we have apple juice," dropping my head I held a smile before looking up at her.

"worth a try right?" She nodded smiling and started walking off, there was silence in the air and I felt him staring at me as he recognize me, and the wheels in his head were turning trying to figure out as well.

"You probably want to get out of that chándal before we land," He spoke, I look down at the tracksuit I decided to wear.

"Why?"
