TRUTH ─ ROGER DAVIES IS A TWAT
After Heidi's shiny, accomplished quidditch-captain boyfriend with great hair breaks up with her, she spends approximately three weeks feeling sorry for herself. Overcome with indignation and just the right amount of sheer persistence, she finally decides to drag herself out of bed, determined to make him regret ever leaving her.
Why did he leave her, one might ask?
Answer: she wasn't going to be very successful.
TRUTH ─ HEIDI WOOD IS GOING TO BE A LAWYER
Well, no one tells Heidi Elizabeth Wood what she will or will not do. Armed with nothing but bad decisions, Heidi begins a life that consists of nothing but reading various law books, irritating her teachers with various questions on the Wizengamot, and provoking arguments amongst her friends simply so she can prove a point.
Argumentative, loud, opinionated ─ Heidi makes it very clear that the last thing she needs in life is some boy telling her what to do. In fact, she doesn't even need a boy. Boys are gross, ugly, and annoying, and she's doing just fine without one, thank you very much.
George Weasley doesn't like this so much.
LIE ─ GEORGE WEASLEY DOESN'T LIKE HEIDI WOOD
Heidi Wood and George Weasley have done nothing but aggravate each other ever since they crossed paths five years ago. George hates Heidi's argumentative nature, her loud personality, and the way her hair glows as the sun sets; Heidi, in turn, loathes George's inability to apply himself to anything other than practical jokes, and how good his arms look in his quidditch uniform.
After a rather tragic skirmish in transfiguration, involving a broken chair, a dungbomb, and a frog, Heidi is given the task of tutoring George Weasley.
Heidi might as well have been sent straight to hell ─ it would have hurt less.
