so this has nothing to do with ABBA, but it made me sad so i thought i should tell you people so you don't hurt someone's feelings
some guy told me a really mean "joke" about John Lennon's shooting, and when i told him that it's not okay to say that, he told me im upset for no reason because i wasn't even related to him!
Here are some things i want to make clear:
1. These "jokes" are not funny. They're disrespectful towards the celebrity/person and can really hurt some people. Imagine me making jokes about one of their family members getting murdered.
2. Even if I'm not related to John, he could have/did make a huge difference in my life, and he was one of the people who actually saved my life. And it's really hurtful to me when people make these jokes, because, beside the obvious, i get reminded of the fact that i could never thank them for how much they've helped me through.
So the only thing i ask of you is, if someone tells you this kind of "joke" about any dead person, tell them that it isn't okay. Other than that, I hope you have a nice day! ☮✌💞
