TWHK Chapter 2
Recap:
I could see her tear drop at the end of the letter, right next to the most recent one of mine that fell. I cried. And cried. And cried. I don't even know how long. She was one if my only friends.

Now, two months after Rosie moved, I slowly walked home, my head towards the ground. When I approached my street, a moving truck almost hit me turning the corner. I glanced around quickly to see if anyone saw, my face burning bright red. Walking to my front door, i saw the truck in Rosie's old driveway. A man was standing enthusiastically next to the 'For Sale' sign, smiling at a woman taking a picture. I heard the door of the van slam closed one more time, and a teen aged boy walked around the front of the truck.
To say my jaw dropped was an understatement. He was breathtakingly gorgeous, light, sandy hair almost covering his eyes, dark green eyes, and a fit body (from what I could see anyways). He has dark, low rise jeans, and a white v-neck tee shirt. He was like no guy I had ever seen before. He looked up and caught me looking at him, I quickly closed my mouth and fumbled around in my backpack for my house key. When I glanced back up, he was walking in my direction, eyes locked with mine. I couldn't look away.
"You could take a picture, it lasts longer." He smirked, handing me the camera.
"Why? I wouldn't want to have to burn my eyes." I finally found my key, unlocked the door, and slammed it in his face.
"Addy? Is that you?" My 6 year old little sister called. Annabelle was the sweetest little girl ever, and she could always tell when someone was having a bad day. And she knew almost everyday after Rosie moved. She had impeccable speech for a six year old, I blame all the "Baby Einstein" videos our parents made her watch.
"Hi Cupcake." I picked her up, balancing her on my hip. Her brunette ringlets tickled her face, and she giggled, her bright green eyes shining, she looked like our mother.
"Addy, are you having a nother sad day?" She frowned a little. I noticed the separation in the way she said another. It was cute.
I smiled sadly at her. "Yeah, I am, but it's ok. I'll get better. Let's worry about you. Want to watch a movie?" I spun her around. She laughed loudly, squirming to get out of my arms. She ran to our living room, stopping at the DVD rack.
"Let's watch..." She stood there, one hand in her hip, on finger on her lips. She looked like she could be a baby model. I walked over to her, standing behind her.
I saw her eyes go wide, and she saw the new movie I had stuck in there when she wasn't home.
"Addy did you get this?!" She yelled, jumping slightly. It was her favorite movie. She held up the movie, motioning for my to put it in the DVD player.
This girl was one tough chick. She wasn't afraid of anything. That's why her favorite movie was 'Frozen'. It's a horror movie, one of my favorites too. It was about these three teenagers that went skiing for the weekend, the resort was about to close, and they decided to go on one last ride. Due to careless employees, they got stuck on the ski lift about 300 feet above the ground. In the end, only the girl survived, her boyfriend and his best friend both dying. There's lots of blood and gore, that's why my dad yelled at me when he first found us watching it together a couple months back. But when he realized how tough Annabelle was, he didn't mind anymore. She had been wanting this movie for a while, and when i saw it in the store last week, i knew i had to get it.
The last thing i remember before falling asleep is the final scene ending, Annabelle already asleep.
