"Toge, why are you breathing so heavily?" Momoi looked at me with a worried expression, and I let my irritation show plainly on my face.

"Ahomine decided to be a dick and run. I had to chase his ass down."

"So that's where he went." Momoi sighed while shaking her head. "How long did you run after him?"

  "Almost the entire break, why?"

"Then he's warmed up." She tapped her clipboard against her shoulder. "Thanks, Toge."

"You make it sound like it was intentional."

  "Whatever works." She chuckled.

"....Fuck this, I'm getting a drink."

"Oh, here." Momoi grabbed a bottle, and handed it to me.

"Oh....thanks." Popping the cap I glanced to the court to see Aomine going wild. It looked like he was dancing around the other team, going low and spinning, handling the ball with ease. After getting a free throw, Aomine beckoned out Seirin's #11.

That just confirmed the shortie was actually Kuroko.

Now I was very interested to see what would happen between these two. Sitting down, I watched Kuroko pass across the court without interruption. He even managed to steal without anyone noticing until he already had the ball.

It looked like the tides might be turning until Aomine caught Kuroko's fast pass. Now having the ball, he weaved through the players to reach the hoop. He jumped to dunk, and both Kuroko and the redhead tried to block but only ended up falling down when he pushed through.

From the look on Kuroko's face, Aomine was saying something to him. Even the redhead looked upset.

The tides turned back to Too absolutely dominating Seirin. The redhead got subbed out, I assumed due to his limp, and it looked as if the outcome of the game was now decided. Pity, it looked like the redhead and Kuroko were on to something.

The game ended 112 to 55, and I had to hand it to Seirin....they didn't give up.

Sucking on a Capri Sun while sitting outside of the Too locker room, I quirked up a brow when I heard a loud bang come from inside the room. Just a few seconds after, and Aomine was storming out.

"Yo, what happen-" He grabbed the back of my jacket to pick me up from my seat and drag me down the hallway. "O-Oi!"

"I'm bored." He droned with a tired-sounding tone. "Let's go do something."

"It's too dark to play basketball, though."

  "Then I'll play with Yaju."

  "Huh?"

"Huh, yourself." Despite winning, Aomine actually looked....upset. Furrowing my brows, I kept quiet as he pulled me along all the way to my house. He was awfully quiet the entire way there as well, validating my belief that he was upset.

Unlocking the door, Aomine's face immediately changed, and he ran at Yaju like I had seen in the park. The giant dog slid on the hardwood, barking with excitement when he saw Aomine.

Closing the door behind me, I dropped my keys into the dish by the door. Pulling my jacket off, I hung it up before picking up the duffel bag Aomine had dropped. Taking it into the living room, I set it on the edge of the couch. Hearing claws scrabbling and squeaky toys, I sighed while rubbing the back of my neck.

Should I ask him what his deal was?

Deep laughter came from the next room, and I chewed my bottom lip. Something was wrong, but he clearly didn't want to think about it.
