Kissing Strangers

Chapter Four

I woke up without my alarm this morning.

For some reason.

I checked for my phone on the nightstand to look at the time and it was really early so I just stayed in bed watching random things on it.

After a while, I heard movement in the kitchen and Arabella's room, so I decided it was okay to get out of bed and get ready for school.

I got into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, had my bath and washed my hair.

I got out and went into my closet to pick a random outfit and got dressed into black spandex shorts and my Nike sweatshirt. I picked a pair of ankle socks and my white Air Force 1s and headed downstairs with my bag.

I got downstairs and went into the kitchen and found my dad in front of the gas cooker with an apron and a hairnet on. I stifled a laugh but he must have heard me because he turned around immediately while holding the spatula up looking like he was about to hit someone.

"Oh Arianna, you scared me." He said. "Why are you awake? It's so early." He added.

"I don't know, it just happened." I said as I laughed and reached to get an apple from the fruit bowl.

I took a bite out of the apple and decided to help him with what he was doing. We finished everything before 7:00, which was when my mom usually woke up. My dad wanted to surprise her with breakfast in bed so he got up early to do it.

He went upstairs with the tray of food and I decided to eat a little before I left for school. I took a short stack of  pancakes and drizzled chocolate syrup on it and quickly ate it.

I was already walking out the door when Arabella came downstairs on the phone with someone. Most likely Robby, her boyfriend.

I swear those people are attached to the hip! They've been dating for almost 2 years now and I'm pretty sure they're in love with each other. I just waved at her and walked to my car and started the short drive to school.

I got to school and almost screamed out of annoyance because some douche was parked at my spot!

Ugh!

Now  I have to look for another parking spot! I was driving around for a few minutes when I found one empty spot and I immediately drove there and parked my car before anyone else could.

I got out of the car still slightly irritated but I let it go since I was going to talk to the person who parked there.

I walked into school and to my locker and started getting my things out  when a large group of people; mostly girls run crazily in the direction of a guy I couldn't really see, almost bulldozing me over in the process.
