*Flashback*

We were in front of Exo's practice room. It was you, exo, and head manager. We were just chatting normally until you caught something off in the corner of your eyes. Outside SM entertainment, a strange looking guy watching us. You secretly walked over to the stranger.

"Hello, how can I help you?" You asked him. You look him up then down. The guy was startled.

"Uhm nothing." -Guy stuttered.

"Who are you? Are you an EXO-L?"

"Y-yea." -Guy

"I'm sorry. Fans aren't allowed here. Please leave."

"I'm sorry but I can't." -Guy

"Why can't you?"

"Because.. I'm waiting for my dad here." -Guy

"...Can't you wait somewhere else? This is a private spot."

"I promised my dad to wait here." -Guy

"Then please wait over there in the next store."

"No. Do you really want to know the truth of why I am here?!" -Guy

"Yes."

"I came here to... take MY Kai from you!" -The guy took out the knife from his pocket. He pointed it towards you. You knew it was there but it still scared you. You took a step back.

"You should put that down."

"Why should I? You are stealing my Kai from me." -Guy

"Your 'Kai'? I don't think so. He's my— He's Kim Jong-in. Not yours. Not anyone's."

"Yes, he is! He will be with nobody but me!" -Guy yelled. Security came over and knocked the knife out of his hands. Exo's manager ran over and blocked me from him.

"What happened?" -Manager

"He wants Kai for himself." -You

"Come. Let's go back to the others. The security will deal with him." -Manager

You and manager walked back to the group. They didn't notice anything at all which was a relief I guess.

*End of Flashback*

It's 12 AM. They were on tour. So we have our own rooms. When I feel trouble or have a nightmare, I would go to Kai's room. But lately, I've been going to manager's room. He has an extra bed. He's the only person who knows about the situation. I haven't been able to sleep properly anymore after what happened a week ago. This was our first argument. It wasn't a big deal. He caught me going to manager's room.

"Why didn't you tell me about it?!" -Kai

"Because your on tour right now. I don't want you to worry about it like you are now."

"...But even if I do, I'm your boyfriend. You should rely on me." -Kai

" I do! But I don't want to make you worried. I want you to be happy with your members and fans."

"But! Even if I'm worried, I can always hide it from fans and I can help you." -Kai shouted. Manager opened the door sleepily.

"What are you guys yelling about? It's midnight. Stop yelling. Come inside my room and talk it out." -Manager said. We walked in. We sat on the couch awkwardly.

"Manager. Did you know what happened to Mirae?" -Kai spoke up

"...About her almost being attacked by your sasaeng fan?..." -Manager stumbled worriedly.

"Yea. So you knew all along?!" -SHOOKai (Author-nim: "Sorry... had to.")

"Yea..." -Manager

"Then why didn't you tell me either?!" -Kai got up furiously.

"Because you need to focus on your career and we didn't want to worry you." -Manager

Kai stayed quiet. He nodded. Seemed like he believed his manager more than me.

"Seems like... I'm not good enough. Seems like... I'm not trustworthy. Seems like... No one wants to believe me. Do I deserve to be Kai's or anyone's gf or friend? Should I just die? Should I go back to that Sasaeng fan and tell him to kill me?" -You finally spoke up

Kai looks at you with wide eyes. "No! You can't! You can't leave me! Don't die!"

"You trust your manager but not your girlfriend... I sometimes wonder... 'Are you the right one for me? Are you my true love?' Seems like it's a..." -You got cut off

"It's a yes! I am! I trust you!" -Kai

"If you did trust me, you wouldn't have to argue with me." -You walked towards the door

Right when you held the doorknob, Kai hugged you from the back. Something wet fell onto your shoulder. Kai's tears.

"K-Kai... Are you crying?" -You

"*hiccup*... N-No." -Kai

"Pff You are." -You giggled

"N-no I'm not." -Kai

"Sure. Sure. Whatever you say~"

It's the first time you've ever seen Kai cry before. He was always strong and held it in like a man. We talked everything out and thanked manager for helping out. Went on tour perfectly normal. Everything was fine now. :))
