Ch. 7 - Final Death

(Y/n)'s POV
Yellow and I walked through the halls as our footsteps echoed through the hall, I was on edge and trying to stick as close to Yellow as possible. "Hey White?" "Yeah?" "I don't see anyone over here, do you mind if I check the other side of the ship real quick?" Yellow asked while turning around to look at me, we were between Security and Reactor at the moment, which means I'd have to stay here if Yellow left. "Uhm... y-yeah, that's fine." I answered, in reality it wasn't, but I didn't want to risk messing something up for Yellow. "Great, I'll be back in a minute, how bout you watch the cameras?" She offered, I nodded and walked into Security as Yellow went towards the other side of the ship. I tried focusing on the cameras, yet the smallest sound would make me turn away or jump.

After a few minutes I heard Yellow scream from the other side of the ship, 'NO' I thought already knowing what happened, I sprinted over to the other side of the ship and check all the rooms. I had beads of sweat forming on my forehead and tears pricked my eyes, soon I found Yellow lying on the floor in Communication, she had stab wounds all over their sides and were gasping for air. I took her helmet off and she rolled over to look at me, "Y-You've done good W-White, you'll ne-ver forget me, right?" They asked while smiling up at me, "No, no you CAN'T die, please no, I can get you to Medbay, I-I'll- Yellow please-"  "Lily."  "What?"  "My name i-is Lily, I-I'll watch ov-er you..."  "(Y/n), I'll never forget you... thank you Lily..."

    Lily took her final breaths before her eyes rolled back, her head fell limp and a cold presence fillies the room, yet her smile remained. The imposter has won, all controls will be reprogrammed by their demands. The overhead speakers announced, yet I could care less, I remained next to Lily's body, her hand placed in mine. Soon enough I heard footsteps, that shocked me back to reality, my head snapped up and I looked around. The footsteps were growing closer, just as I was about to hide I heard someone behind me, "Silly White, where do you think you're going?" A low toned voice asked, I recognized it and turned around. There stood Black, leaning on the door frame, helmet in hand and a smug look on his face.

    "What did you say your name was? (Y/n)? Hm, very pretty, just like the rest of you." He complimented, "T-Thank you?" I responded in a confused tone. "You're welcome, now why don't we head to Medbay, you can change out of your suit and go to sleep. Then before the next crew comes in we can go over my rules, does that sound good sweetheart?" He asked while gently putting his arm around my shoulder. I didn't respond and just looked at the ground, "Cat got your tongue? There's no need to be scared dear, I didn't kill you for a reason, remember in Admin? Why I could've killed you right then and there, but I didn't. Because I actually care for you." He explained while leading me to Medbay. I thought it over while nodding, 'I guess he does care...'

We headed into Medbay and Black laid me down on the bed, "I'm gonna go reprogram the ship, and you're gonna stay here! We're heading to Polus next, where you're gonna have to defend me and stay by my side, m'kay sweetheart?" Black said while running his fingers through my hair, I could feel the gloves brush past my face as Black sat there. After a few more minutes he left the room, I was beginning to fall asleep as his footsteps grew fainter. 'Polus... that's where we're going...'
