Chaper 5

Joey, POV
April: Daddy, Who is Shane???
Oh no. She was never suppose to know about Shane.
Joey: It is nobody April.
April: But Daddy.
Joey: IT'S NOBODY!!!
She looked at me with a shocked look. Tear started to run run down her face. What have I done.
Joey: April, wait.
But it was too late. She had already run out of my room.
Danni: I'll go talk to her.
Joey: Thanks, Danni
Danni: No problem.
What is my problem. I'm a monster. I just yelled at my daughter because he wanted to know who her suppose to be other father was.
I stepped out of my bed and made my way to April's room and put my ear up to the door.
April: I just wanted to know who Shane was. I didn't mean to get him so worked up.
Danni: You should have seen his face after you ran out. He had the saddest look on his face. I think you should talk to him. He will always love you.
April: I hope you are right.
Danni: Don't be silly. I'm gonna head home so you to can talk.
April: Ok. See you later. Thanks for everything.
Danni: That's what friends are for.
A few seconds later Danni walked out of Aprils room with her backpack.
Joey: Thanks Danni.
Danni: Like I said earlier, no problem.
She flashed a smile which made me smile. I hugged he and she left.
"Knock. Knock"
Joey: Can I come in??
April: Sure.
I sat on her bed next her. I hate seeing her sad.
Joey: I'm so sorry for yelling at you baby girl, Can u for give me???
April: Of course. And I'm sorry for bothering you about Shane.
Joey: I should have told you. But I'm just not ready to talk about him.
April: It is ok. Tell me when you are ready.
Joey: Thank you from understanding. I love u, sweetie.
April: I love u too, Daddy.
Joey: How about we go and get ice cream and try to forget about Shane!
April: Yeah!
