Waking up is always the worst for me. I hate the feeling of dread every time I wake up. Usually, my alarm clock wakes me up and that's what easily makes it the worst part of my day. Not to mention that it's freezing cold in my house. I must have left the window open. The thick walls in my house are great for keeping the temperature the same though. I look at the clock. It reads: 5:30 am. Almost time to wake up. 'Stupid Tuesdays... I hate Tuesdays...'
I stretch and sit up in bed. I hug my tail and use it as a pillow before almost falling asleep again. Skylar opens the door to my room and I feel a burst of hot air.
"What's with the temperature change?" Skylar asks with a chuckle.
"I left the stupid window open in my room..." I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my head. It goes away rapidly. "Oh no..."
"What is it Red?"
"It's nothing.. Really, I'm fine."
"Okay.... Well I made breakfast. Eggs bacon and pancakes."
I chuckle and stand up then cough a bit and sniffle. "Thanks hun! Oh man, I'm actually really hungry. Maybe it's because I didn't eat last night at all."
"Well then come eats some breakfast! It's ready for you on the table."
"Now your sounding like my mom." I scratch my head and yawn a bit while walking to the table.
"Is that a good thing or bad thing?" He asks and chuckles simultaneously. I don't respond and sit down scarfing down my breakfast. He sits across from me and eats his breakfast, too.
I thank him for the food and we both get ready together for school. I can't say that I didn't take a peak while he was in the shower. I know I know, I'm a perv... But... I feel like he knew...
We both start walking our way to the bus stop and I notice that's Skylar was hinting that he wanted to hold my hand. I nervously reach for it and he grasps my hand firmly. I blush slightly and look up to his gorgeous face. He was looking forward as we walk, most likely looking for the way to the bus stop.
I stray my attention to the scenery around us. Beautiful. The trees just had a light sprinkle of snow on them. As did the bushes and even some parts of the grass. Everywhere was either wet or slightly covered in snow.
"Spring's coming up pretty soon," I say as I look back up at Skylar.
"Yep." He looks down at me with a cheesy smile. I giggle and blush. By the time we reached the bus stop, Skylar had finished telling me how much he hates school. I just kept walking and laughing, mostly because I love school.
The both of us get on the bus and he lets go of my hand. We find a seat in that that was perfect for just two. Well, at least one small and one huge. I giggle softly and sit by the window and look back at Skylar who had already sat down next to me. He holds my hand again and his muscular thighs gently rub next to mine. Slowly, I lean my head onto Skylar's shoulder. The bus takes us to school, which took about 15 minutes, and we get off the bus to head to our first class. I kiss him goodbye before leaving to my first class which changed along with the rest of my schedule. We no longer have the same first period. "I'll see you after school! I have a lot planned for us!" I shout from across the hall.
"Okay! See ya!" He shouts in response.
