lost and confused

chapter 1

I wake up to my alarm blasting centuries by fall out boy. Im honestly draeading today. Not only is it Monday, but school sucks ass. Everyday im bullied by someone I love and I have no clue why..his name is Cody.. Every girl is heads over heels for him because hes the schools quarterback. I snapped myself out of my thoughts and got dressed in light washed ripped skinnies and an over sized white sweater. I quickly curl my hair and add a black bow, put on eyeliner and mascara, and slip on my black vans. Grabbing my bag and pennyboard, I head out the door and make a daily morning stop to starbucks. I run in and order a venti white chocolate mocha with extra whipped cream for myself and a venti caramel maciotto with extra whipped cream for my bestriend, Leah.

I hesitantly open the doors to the school and make my way towards Leahs locker.

"Hey Leah" I say approaching her.

"Hey Roni"

"I brought you starbucks" I say handing her the cup.

"Thanks bae"

"No problem. Ok I gotta go i dont wanna be late...see you in class" I said seeing Cody from a distance.

I open my locker only to have it shut.. Cody.

"Hey Roni" He says my name as if hes disgusted.

"Hey Cody" I say with venom im hoping was worse than his.

I suddenly felt a stinging sensation in my cheek.. Did he just slap me?

"Dont give me attitude. You know what will happen then.." he says with a devious smirk.

He was right. I knew damn well what hes capable of..

"Whatever Cody. Just leave me alone."

For some reason, I had tears in my eyes. How have I put up with this for 3 years?

I just began walking away and to my first period, history, which i suck at. And what makes it worse yet better is that codys in that class with me...hes in all my classes actually..

~ le magical time skip to after school ~

I grabbed my books and stuffed them in my bag and then grabbed my pennyboard. The halls were nearly empty so I rode my penny to Leahs locker. She grabbed hers and we rode to starbucks and of course got the same drinks from this morning. As we were about to walk out, we saw Cody with the skimpy head cheerleader. Ew.

We somehow managed to get out of starbucks without them seeing us. We started boarding back to my house and I decided to start a conversation.

"I have to tell you something..." I started saying.

"Oh god..Whats up?"

"Remember how Cody bullies me?"

"....yeah..everyone kinda knows that..why?"

"I kinda ike him..alot.."

Instead of replying she just went faster and walked into her house as I stood outside. (Were neighbors) Why did she leave?

I just brushed it off and walked inside. I waited a few hours, maybe two or three and was about to text her but before i could even unlock my phone, i got a group messgage.

"Hey guys, did you know that Veronica likes Cody?"

The only person to know was Leah.. Why would she tell everyone? I looked through the rest of the messages.

"Wow. Shes such a slut"

"What a whore."

"Poor Cody. Hes probably really disgusted. I know I am."

"OMG EW"

But one message imperticular stood out to me.

"Just leave her alone."

And under the message, read Codys name...
