His eyes are swollen as he gulps. His whole posture is sluggish and you sulk at the gaze of his tired eyes wanting to reach out to you.
You take his hand in yours and tremble; it's cold, so cold. You blow on it and try to force a smile for his pained face. Even though he's trying to hide it, he's crying but oh so quietly.
He lifts his head up and faces you. With a raspy voice he says;
"You're not like they say you are"
