Stuck in the middle

West POV:
I found riley kneeling on the floor next to James and bawling her eyes out. I decided for a couple minutes or two I would watch her. Watching her made me feel like I wanna be beside her crying as much as she was. But I knew if James was here right now he would tell me to show confidence and fight through it. That's what he would have done.

Just as I was about to go comfort riley and had called me. I walked away quickly so riley wouldn't notice me.

"Hello?" I said through the phone

"Hey man do you wanna hang out today?" Eldon said

"Oh man sorry I have some family business to take care of" I said.

I didn't want Eldon to know that James was in the hospital cause he would be just as tearful and sad as I was. Then he asked,
"Is that crying I hear?...............
