Hey y'all.
Getting some good feedback on this story, which is nice to hear.
Not really much to say, other than that.
So, I guess let's move onto the story then.

Unnamed Island

With the storm picking up intensity as it raged on, Marshall found it more difficult to sleep. The thunder, the rain that sounded like hail, it was not very pleasant to the dalmatian. He laid awake, shivering in the cold wind. 'Maybe I should have made it more suitable against the night wind,' he wished, attempting to find any ways to keep him warmer, to no avail. His whimpering was enough to awake Everest, who was still half-asleep, but upon seeing his shivering and whimpering, laid her body against him to provide more warmth. The dally was caught off guard, and he was about to question what she was doing, only to realize she was back asleep again. 'Oh, this feels... nice,' he finally let himself sink into the feeling. He quickly nuzzled up into her and let the night fade away.
A few hours later, and it was morning. The sun crept from the shadows of the sky, and lit the earth below. The warm morning light was enough to wake Marshall up. He then remembered about last, and glanced to his side. Unsurprisingly, she was still there, still in a peaceful sleep. He slowly got up, making sure not to awake her. He stepped outside for some fresh air, and looked around the island. 'This is going to take some getting used to,' he thought. He wondered if Ryder really was going to come... or, you know, he will be forced to abandon them. He shook his head, disregarding that solution. There was no way Ryder would abandon them, even if it would be almost impossible to find them. He would not give up until the day he died. 'Still, they need to come soon. In the meantime, maybe I should fetch us some score?' he suggested to himself. 'Yeah, I'll get us some... meat like last night while Everest is asleep, perfect.'
The fresh smell of smoke and cooked rabbit meat filled the air and made its way into Everest's muzzle. Wanting to know the source of the smell, she yawned and stretched her legs, and stepped outside the shelter, surprised to see Marshall there, already cooking what appeared to be some kind of bird meat. "Marshall?" she asked. "AH! Oh, uh, Hi Everest!" he greeted with a smile plastered on his face. "What are you... is that meat?" "Hm? Oh, yeah. While you were sleeping, I, uh... obtained some food," he explained, passing her some meat. "Oh no, I don't think I-." "Relax, I already ate. Besides, it's not like we have anything else to eat," he reassured her. "Oh... okay."
"Hey, Everest?" Marshall called out while Everest devoured the meal. "Yeah?" "I... uh, why did you do that last night?" Marshall questioned. Everest's response was a confused look. "Huh?" "Like-, why did you-, um, uh, you know, nuzzle against me like that?" Marshall asked again.
"W-what? I... I did that?" Everest asked, getting slightly red. "Um, yeah. N-n-not to say that I didn't like it! But, I-, oh this is so awkward," Marshall said with a nervous chuckle. He then felt Everest's paw slide on his shoulder. The slow movement of it somewhat eased him up a bit, but his attention was everted to her. "Hey, uh, don't worry. We're in this together, and we'll get through together, right?" she asked in reassurance. "R-right. We'll get through this, together."
Paw Patrol Lookout

Last night was not an easy night for Ryder. The mere thought that two of his most loyal pups out at sea, possibly dying did not rest well with him. And the fact he had to withhold the Paw Patrol to rescue them until he was absolutely sure devastated him. Still, he could not just waste time out at sea searching random islands until he was able to find them. Chase had not woken up the others this morning, in fact he had not woken up himself yet, but he decided to let it slide. Everyone did not take the news that well, so maybe they deserved some rest. Until they woke up then, he decided to try and see if he could contact Everest again.
