Christina's PoV - 18th December 2020
"Kids, clean up your mess. Daddy will be home in a minute" I watched as my children smiled cheerfully.
I wouldn't change them for the world. There is only one thing I would change in the world; the arguments.
The one's I had with Lisa. The one's Katherine had with Amy, and the shocker the one's that Lauren had with Dani; which caused Dani to end up in hospital.
"Hmm, what's cooking, good looking?" Nick sniffed as he walked through the wooden door.
"Chicken and Bacon Pasta" I awnsered his question as he came over to give me a hug.
"Daddy!" Izzy and Reuben screamed running towards us.
"What have you guys been up to today then?" He questioned and he lifted both kids in the air.
"I did a drawing for you. It's a picture of a penguin because that is your favourite animal, and then I drew Mummy a picture of a penguin because I didn't know what her favourite animal" Izzy squirmed out of Nicks arms and ran into the living room. I'm guessing to get the drawings.
"Yellow?," Nick awnsered the ringing phone,"Yup, she is right here" Nick passed me the phone and ran of into the living room.
"Hello?" I started the conversation.
"Hi Christina, It's your mother" My Mother spoke through the end of the phone cheerfully.
"Hi Mum. Why have you called then?" I replied.
"Can a mother not call her daughter these days?,"She laughed to herself down the phone,"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come home for Christmas?"
"That would be great, Mum. Will there be any visitors?" I smiled to myself. We haven't been back home for 2 years.
"Hello?" I asked getting worried.
"Yes, there will be visitors darling", Her voice suddenly dropped,"Your sisters. All your brothers came last year so it will be all your sisters this year"
That means Lisa will be going. The last time I saw Lisa we hated each other. I'm pretty sure she wanted me dead.
"When will we be wanted there?" I smiled trying to keep the conversation cool.
"Tomorrow darling. I have checked with all your sisters and that's fine. Is that okay?"
"Yeah I'll have to check with Nick, but that should be fine. See you tomorrow Mum, Love you. Tell Dani I miss her" I waited for her reply.
"Bye darling"
I rushed into the living room where Nick was builing Lego with the kids.
"What did your Mother want then?" He asked as he looked at the instructions confused.
"We're going home tomorrow for Christmas" I looked a bit more upset then excepted.
"Why the frown? It's a good thing isn't it?" He stood up to sit next to me.
"Lisa" Was all I said.
