Shinso's POV: (also, italicized sentences are thoughts)

Shinso opened his eyes to a sort of muffled beeping sound. As his senses started to wake up, the beeping was no longer muffled, but sharp and loud. He groaned, lazily bringing his hand to his alarm to turn it off.

He sat up, sore everywhere, yet no reason to follow why he was so sore. Maybe it was the fact he got no sleep because of his insomnia, or maybe because he was working out a bunch yesterday, when he hadn't really worked out before. His body was definitely gonna have to get used to that.

As he got up from his bed, (he didn't bother making it), he made his way to the bathroom to take a shower. He turned the shower on and waited for it to get warm. Or, at least that what he usually would've done if he'd been in the mood to wake up, when he really wasn't. so he just threw his clothes to the ground and got in the cold raining tub, washed himself and washed out his hair as fast as he could, then got out.

He had forgotten to turn it off before he grabbed his towel. So, now it was soaking wet.

He sighed in annoyance, "Mornings.."

After a few trials of life later, he'd finally gotten dried, got his uniform on, (made sure his hair was all up and floofy :3), and made himself some breakfast.

As he was pouring his coffee into a thermal mug to take to school, he felt something soft brush against his leg. He looked down to see Kota, his cat.

"Oops, almost forgot to fill your food bowl up Kota," after doing this, he lazily put on his shoes and walked out the front door, locking it behind him.

What seemed like miles later, he finally arrived at U.A campus. Truly, it was a pretty big school, but Shinso paid no mind to it.

He made his way down the halls of U.A, though he felt paranoia filled him, feeling like someone was watching him. No one else was in the halls, since he got there early.

He stopped to look to his right out the window, where he could get a pretty good few of this side of Japan. He eventually brushed off his paranoia; feeling comforted by being able to see his home, knowing Kota was doing well.

As he turned around, he saw a girl about his age. Except, she wasnt on the ground, but upside down, staring at him,(reference to the picture).

He jumped back startled.

The girl seemed to have bewilderment written on her face, but her eyes were filled with laughter? Strange.

"You look like youve seen a ghost," the girl snickered, as she spun herself right side up to get a better look at Shinso.

"Hah, you shouldve seen your face, you looked so freaked out! God that was priceless!" the girl laughed at him. He just stared in disbelief.

"Okay, it wasnt that funny, you can stop laughing now," but she didnt, which annoyed the poor purple haired child, "Hey!" he snapped, grabbing her shoulders.

She looked up at him, a little surprised, then fell down through the floor, disappearing.

"W-WHAT THE-?!"

"Hey there~," she interrupted him, appearing behind him.

He jumped around to look at her.

"Is this your idea of funny?!" she chuckled at him.

"Yup!" she gave him an eye-closed smile, holding thumbs up.

After Shinso had caught his breath from the scare he looked back at her with his usual tired expression.

"Sorry about scaring you so bad, the names Yūrei Warashi," she held out both of her hands to shake his.

"Hitoshi Shinso," he greeted, though he didnt shake her hands.

She put her hands down awkwardly.

Now that he could get a better look at her, he realized she actually looked really cute- wait what?

Yūrei was wearing a mini muddy brown colored skirt, with a muddy orange-yellow sweater, a white collared shirt underneath it, and mismatched striped black and white socks. One went vertical the other horizontal. She wasnt wearing any shoes. Her hair was an auburn brown, and her eyes an orange-red, though he only saw her face in his peripheral since he was looking at her weird socks.

"I hope you dont mind me asking," he looked back up at her, "But whats your quirk?" she seemed to have wonder in her eyes, like little stars formed in her pupils.

"Uh-"

"Oh sorry, thats probably impolite, you dont need to tell me its fine," he watched as her wonder left her eyes. He felt bad for that, even though he really didnt do anything.

"No, its fine. My quirks Brainwashing, if anyone answers me, Im able to control their every whim. Kind of a villains quirk if you ask me-"

Yūrei snorted a little bit, holding her hands up to her mouth like she was biting her nails.

"Ha! You think you have a villain's quirk? I'm basically fricking dead!" Yūrei hollowly laughed at this, licking her canine.

This girl is nuts Shinso thought to himself as he watched her behavior.

"My quirks called Apparition- or, at least that's the name I've given it since a doctor never told me the diagnosis. Basically, Im just a ghost," she had stopped laughing, and pulled out a notebook from behind her, and handed it to Shinso. It labeled, 'ALL TO KNOW ABOUT YUREI'S QUIRK' in Japanese bold letters, (ユレイの風変わりについて知っておくべきこと). (Author-Chan: I hope that's right! :P )

"You can keep that if you'd like, I've got multiple copies," she swayed her legs as she floats above the ground- wait, shes floating?!

Shinso head felt like it was spinning. This girl really confused him. He closed his eyes, hoping this was just a weird dream.

"Heey~ you ok Shinso?" Yūrei flicked his forehead with her pointer finger.

He opened his eyes to see her hand him a blue raspberry Slurpee. He accepted the token.

"Where'd you get this from?" he examined the Slurpee, trying to see if she had poisoned it.

"I always have a Slurpee on hand! Anyways, it was nice meeting you! See ya around Shinso!" and with that, she disappeared as mysteriously as she arrived.

Ok, that was just weird on a whole different level, Shinso muttered to himself as he made his way to class.

Today was sure to be eventful...

Author-Chan: I admit it was a little short, but they'll most likely get longer as the chapters go on! :P Hope you enjoyed! Keep on reading if you didn't think this was a waste of time..
