A gust of wind passed my left side as Zach, who was surprisingly cheery, sat down. The boy's smile was practically miles apart, you could even see his braces shine. I was in denial; I resented the possibility of me liking him the slightest bit, ignored it any way I could. Our eyes didn't dare meet each other, but he stood in sameness. Zach stood happy, despite my ignoring him. I picked up my pencil, opened my note book, and wrote.
From the corner of my eye, I could spot Zach pushing up his glasses and looking at the play area. There were no kids, but still, some parents came to the local area.
"You okay?" Zach broke the silence. I almost ignored him again. Almost.
"Yea, I'm okay." Again, I looked at the corner of my eye, watching him watch what I wrote- Absolutely nothing. I picked up my head.
"You do realize that I'm not even supposed to be here, right?" I raised my eyebrow. Zach stood confused. "My parents make me do a lot of...chores, I guess you can say? They would kill me if they found out I sneak out of the house to meet up with guys."
"A guy. Me." He corrected. "Let's go somewhere." The boy demanded, grasping my hand, not caring that my pencil was in-hand.
We decided to make oneself scarce and visit his home since my parents would be utterly baffled if they saw him. Besides, my kin had the same name, with a "ck". We took off.
Blue painted walls, dark brown floors, and lots and lots of baby photos. I was astounded by all of the adorable photos of a baby Zach. In my own home, not too many photos were hung up. Only a few drawings of myself by friends, birthday cards, even some photos I printed out of my favorite bands. Plus, about a third of my room was filled of stuffed animals and photos of people from High School Musical.
"Welcome to my home...home...home...home..." Zach imitated his own echo. I made a fist and hit him on the shoulder. "Ouch!" He fake-cried.
I set my notebook down on a random table he had placed in his living room. "You live alone?"
Zach nodded and smiled, and three seconds later, a cat brushed across my leg. "Cats are by far the best pets. I'll give you that, Zach." The cat purred as I pet it, then took my hand away.
"Why do you talk to me at the park?" He asked, bringing my attention from the adorable black cat. His smile turned sour; he was no longer happy. Zach was a confused little blue eyed boy.
Though it took me a second to think, my answer would be very true, at least to myself. "I've never really spoken to you. You spoke first, which surprised me. I'm always the conversation starter...as if there's even a conversation. You're...interesting. Different. And I like different." I scoffed. Slowly but surely, I could tell he was trying to be serious, but couldn't hold it in. Zach let out an even wider grin than earlier. He moved from across me to next to my side, just how we sat at the park. The only difference was that, this time, there was no space between us. None. I turned my head. "I'm sorry, I'm being weird again. I should go."
Before I could flee, Zach took my hand, stopping me from reaching the door. "Stay...please." He begged. I sat back down. "I would say the same, and I know this is too fast paced, but I'm glad I found you."
"I guess you could say I was lost before I met you. I'm glad you did find me." A moment like this for me was very seldom.
I intended to make every second last. Zach opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, I stopped him, just like he had to me, with a brief kiss. It was amazing.

Hey guys :^) I found some wifi yeet
While I have wifi, I need you to do me a favor.
At first, I wanted this to be about 20 chapters or so but I've decided against it since I have so many more ideas for stories. So, this story will be coming to an end soon, but before I do that, I want to hold a Q&A...all you need to do is comment which character you're asking and a question. You can ask Zach/Graser, Madi, Me, heck, you can even ask the cats some questions. Make it creative. :^D yeet bye
