Victor And Valentino: No Further Purpose

Prologue: New Big Brother

"Hi papi!" Greeted a younger Victor Calavera.

"Oh son",

Said Mr. Calavera,

"I've returned from my honeymoon and look who I brought in!"

Then a woman came in through the door. With her, a bit overweight but strong looking boy.

"Victor",

Said dad Calavera,

"Meet your new mom and your new big brother, Valentino!"

Younger Valentino was happy.

"Oh boy! A little brother!" He exclaimed cheerfully.

Younger Victor was offended.

"Little?!" The blue scarfed boy growled, "Oh now you're in for it!"

With that, he performed his great grandfather, El Toro's signature Lucha move on his step bro and tackled him. Younger Val laughed as he thought his new brother was tickling him.

Suddenly, the old ceiling fan gave way and was about to fall on them! But Victor was able to make a roll move and moved him outta the way, just in time!

The ceiling fan crashed on the floor and broke apart, while everyone was uninjured.

"Oh my",

Gasped Younger Val,

"Fifteen seconds after meeting you and you've already saved my life! This is great!"

"But not the house conditions following the divorce from my last wife", Groaned Mr. Calavera.

"Oh it will be fine", The new Ms. Calavera replied, "As long as they could get along. Always being there for one another".

"Do you promise her boys?" Asked Mr. Calavera.

"Oh I will keep that promise!" Val answered with optimism.

Vic just crossed his arms in annoyance.

"Well you better Vic", Said Mr. Calavera, "Otherwise you'll have to tell that to grandma Chata. Oh you'll see in due time, but don't get on her bad side. It's not pretty".

Vic gulped, believing him, "Okay... I promise to keep my new big brother safe".

The two had barely known each-other by the time they were sent to Monte Macabre, so the parents could bond easier without the burden of raising them during their dates. However, as time went on, the bond of the step brothers grew stronger.

Despite their differences, Victor And Valentino became a pair usually helping each other out with a bunch of myths and legends of Mexico. Achi was usually the one keeping them in line, but they grew to deal with the supernatural without him. No, they had help from the other citizens of Monte Macabre.

It seemed that the bond of the brothers was at it's peek by the second season of the show. All that pranking Don Jalapeño, assisting uncle Sal, and fighting the undead seemed to complete it.

But...

The brothers bond had nowhere to go on the mountain. Nowhere but down.
