Goodbye...

Lindsey' P.O.V
I stared at my blood dripping into the bathroom sink, going down the drain. I felt a little bit of relief when I saw that the amount of blood dripping was now decreasing. There was a knock on my door. "Lindsey, are you okay," my mom asked.
"Yeah," I answered, with a nasally voice, pinching my nose a little harder, as I got more toilet paper.
"Okay, good," my mom replied "And I did some quick research a minute ago. Don't blow your nose, and you can't pick it either. Also, you can't bend over. So if you want to take the rest of the day to go around the city one more time, then that's fine."
That would probably be a nice thing to do. Take in everything one more time, especially since it's a nice day too. "If you say so, mom."
You might be wondering how I got a bloody nose. Well, I walked into my parents' room just as my mom lifted up something and tried to walk out the door with it. We walked into each other, and my nose ended up bleeding. I honestly don't know what it was, but I just want to break whatever it was that hurt me. But when I go walk around, I'll probably forget about it.
After I got dressed in a regular pair of skinny jeans and a band t-shirt, I left my house and just went to wherever.
Surprisingly enough, I ended up walking by the school. I just stood there on the sidewalk, thinking about the entire time I've been there. I started here as a sophomore dancer, and I came here with Kara...it feels so weird calling her Kara now...I easily made friends in classes and in dance. It was my talent, I guess. I had so much fun, talking to my friends. Then a certain someone started like me and started 'wooing' me. I didn't want to be with him, because I didn't like him at first but it never stopped him from asking again and again. Soon, I did start to like him back so the next time he asked me out, I said yes. Things seemed to be really good for a while, before he got jealous and freaked out on me. I shook my head to stop the flashbacks, then walked off to somewhere else. I just finished going through it all, and I don't wanna go back to it anymore.
My next stop was the Havendale mall. I really wish I thought about bringing money with me. Now I really wanna buy something...oh well. I walked off because, let's be honest: if you don't have money when you go to a mall, what else is left for you? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Which is also why I decided to walk back home. I didn't want to see all this stuff that I suddenly want and be sad about it on the way to California. Yep, that's my new destination in my life.
When I got home, I saw a moving truck. Are they really almost done? Wow, that was fast. But then again, I helped for most of the morning and the night before. Then I saw some strangers in hats and uniforms. Oh, I see. I took my time walking to my house and walked by these mover guys to get into my house to look for my parents. They were carrying some of the luggage from their room out, but then they saw me and put them down. "You're back already," my dad said.
"Do you want to go wait in the car," my mom asked "We're almost done."
I shrugged "Okay."

An Hour and A Half Later
My mom opened the door on the driver's side. I threw my hands up at the sight of her "Thank Jesus you're finally here! What took you so long?! I thought you were almost done!"
"Sorry," my mom apologized "It took longer than expected."
"Well now you owe me food," I said "Because I'm hungry."
My mom laughed "Okay, we'll go to the next McDonald's we see. We have to get going now."
I crossed my arms and pouted "Then I refuse to forgive you until you feed me."
"Then I guess I'll have to wait 'til then," my mom replied, starting the engine.
As she started driving, I looked out the window and just stared. I don't go in cars very often, so it's always weird to just see things rush by the way they do when you drive.
"You see that," my mom asked. I looked forward and saw the street sign that said we were leaving Auburndale. "You know what that means? Now we're starting over, unofficially of course." It kind of seems more like we're running away to me. But in a way, she's right. No more problems. I'm going to have a new life soon. Bye Auburndale. Soon, I'll be saying goodbye to Florida too and say hello to California....I kinda hate to admit this, but I can't wait! Goodbye old life, hello new life!
