After Miss Holly, Jotaro's mother, had shown the two redheads their home, they had settled in nicely in the Japanese styled home. Kakyoin's mother had decided to lay down in her own futon and get more rest, she wasn't feeling the best, probably was catching a cold.

Kakyoin left his mother in piece and went to explore and get to know more his new temporary home. Outside, Jotaro stood calmly, he was behind the house and a small piece of the roof protected him from the soft rain. Kakyoin sighed and walked toward the boy.

Kakyoin noticed Jotaro had a cigarette in his mouth. Kakyoin turned his head out of confusion. Jotaro notice the redhead staring him. -What?-He said, taking the cigarette out of his mouth, puffing away the smoke. -I just wanted to say thank you..for everything.-Kakyoin smiled softly. Jotaro nodded and inserted the cigarette back in His mouth.

-I don't think that's healthy for a person your age..-Kakyoin said, inspecting Jotaro's build. -Once you've started, it's hard to quit. I'm planning to quit, just not now..-Jotaro said, kakyoin just nodded.

-Hey, I still don't get why you're so kind and..'Normal' to me.-kakyoin, standing right next to Jotaro. Jotaro gulped almost audibly. -..Jota-Kakyoin was interrupted by an almost yelling Jotaro.

-I know about your situation!-Jotaro said, almost nervous. Kakyoin jumped from the sudden and uncomfortable answer. -you...since when?-Kakyoin asked sadly at Jotaro. -A little after we went for lunch.-Jotaro pulled his hat down.

-Do you hate me?-Kakyoin asked softly. -Why would I hate you.-Jotaro answered in a serious tone. The taller one turned around and looked at Kakyoin's shaking purple eyes. -You don't get it.-Jotaro said, throwing his cigarette on the floor and stomping it. -Kakyoin, I appreciate you, ok? I feel relaxed when I'm with you. I feel like I'm fitting in, that I'm not a delinquent. You make me feel safe, Kakyoin.-Jotaro said, in an embarrassing tone. He couldn't possibly be embarrassed, for the love of god, he's a delinquent!

-Jotaro..-Kakyoin took in a sharp and shaken breath. -I-I also feel safe when I'm close to you.-He said, smiling slightly. -Thank you for caring for me..-Kakyoin said.
-Good Grief..—Jotaro said even more embarrassed.

Then the unspeakable happened.

They kissed.

It happened so suddenly, none of the two understood why, they deemed it seemed fitting.
They let go of the short peck.

Kakyoin looked away and starting to unbutton his green uniform. Jotaro quickly understood and buttoned the goldish buttons back. -Don't.-Jotaro said, in a reassuring way.
