it's been about four months. around february.

nothing much has changed, y/n is now back as the person no one really knows.

she hasn't kept in touch with eunkyo, they just happened to drift apart. well, eunkyo didn't even bother to acknowledge y/n existence, she only talked to sunghoon, jay, and jake, even if y/n was around.

her and jake got close, but eventually they stopped talking to each other.

and sunghoon— they never really spoke to each other after y/n helped him and eunkyo.

y/n was back as.. y/n. the girl who only talks to people from other schools, the girl who sits in the back, the girl who no one really knows.

it was february 14, valentines day.

y/n never had an opinion on the day. usually she would just watch people go up to sunghoon and give him things like letters. she was never confident enough to go up to him herself.

this year, it happened to be on a sunday. it was snowing, but the snow looked magical. it seemed really soft and light.

y/n decided to go to a café and get something, probably coffee or tea, she didn't know what she wanted but she still wanted to get something.

she put on a black coat and some shoes. it was definitely cold, she could feel the coldness in her bedroom.

she walked out of her apartment building and on her way to the closest café, it was walking distance so she didn't take a bus.

once she entered, her body quickly warmed up. the café was a little decorated with pink and red hearts. there was even a valentines day drink! (yay?)

y/n ordered a hot chocolate. she forgot that existed until she got there.

she got her hot chocolate and left. she walked home with the hot chocolate in her hands.

her whole body was freezing, but her hands were definitely not.

she walked a bit slower home, she was too busy admiring the snow. she even saw some kids making a snowman and having snow ball fights.

her thoughts were quickly interrupted when she bumped into someone.

fortunately, her hot chocolate did not spill all over her or the person. but the person did fall right onto the snow.

y/n let out a tiny gasp when she saw them on the ground, "i'm so sorry-"

the person hopped up with no problems and smiled at y/n. "it's okay."

y/n's eyes widened.

"sunghoon?"

a very confused expression was on his face. he was trying to remember who the girl standing in front of him was.

he doesn't even remember me.

y/n cleared her throat, "uh, i'll just go."
