"ah- i'm so sorry.." eunkyo said, helping the girl up from the ground.

"it- eunkyo?" she questioned.

eunkyo gave her a small smile, "hi y/n!"

"eunkyo.. are you okay?" y/n asked, in a concerning tone.

eunkyo nodded and proceeded to walk away.

was she really? i mean she did just give her crush away to her best friend.

y/n slowly walked up the stairs, she didn't want to go to class.

she stared at the railing she was holding. it was black, somewhat dented in some parts. it looked "crusty."

"i wanna go home.." y/n whined.

she reached the top of the stairs and entered the hallway, her eyes landed on a pair of students.

jake and hwajin.

y/n was pretty confused, but at the same time she wasn't. she still had her theory of hwajin and eunkyo liking the same person, aka jake.

y/n shrugged it off and looked around. she immediately found sunghoon not too far.

she ran up to him, feeling a bit excited to see him.

he was leaning against the wall, talking to jay.

"hi!" she exclaimed, making both of their attentions drift to her.

"hey y/n!" jay greeted her back in the same energy she gave off.

sunghoon smiled, "hey."

sunghoon put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him. y/n obviously didn't mind and jay didn't think much of it, typical couple things.. you know?

"did you see jake?" jay asked. y/n nodded and pointed in a certain direction. you could literally see jake from where they were.

jay felt a bit embarrassed, sunghoon laughed.

"why is he talking to hwajin?" sunghoon then asked.

y/n sighed, "i have no idea."

the three looked over at jake and hwajin and watched as hwajin handed him a small envelope.

jake stared down at the envelope, saying something. but none of them could make out the words he was saying.

hwajin gave him a smile and then walked away.

jake still stared at the envelope. he lifted his eyes and immediately saw the three. he started walking up to them.

"what's that?" jay asked him once he was with them.

jake shrugged his shoulders, "no idea. i'll open it later."

lunch, finally.

y/n felt like eating on her own today. she sat in the hallway and just ate.

her earbuds were in, listening to random musics that her playlist played.

"y/n," sunghoon called out. y/n didn't hear him and continued to eat her food.

he shook his head and sat down next to her. he pulled out one of her earbuds, receiving her attention immediately.

"hey!- oh."

sunghoon giggled, "what are you doing here?"

she shrugged her shoulders. "the cafeteria is too crowded. didn't feel like entering."
