hope's POV
"i don't have to go, do i?" i mutter. my dad laughs. "you have to go love. i work there and you being here is not educational." my dad replys with a smirk. "did you go to school?" i sarcastically question. "i was your age 1,000 years ago, hope. there was not school." he laughs. "fair enough." i reply as he nudges me into the car.

"it's huge." i say, mesmerised by the large school. the grass is emerald green and there are barely any clouds visible in the sky. "bloody hell i'm going to miss you, love." my dad says, hugging me. "hey klaus, how was the trip?" i believe the headmaster greets my father. "Alaric, mate, long time no see. and ah, yes, the trip was alright." my dad shakes his hand. "this is hope." he says, turning to me. "pleasure to meet you." alaric says, shaking my hand. "you too." i say, faintly smiling.

"the twins should be here soon to give you a tour of the school." he assures me. i nod. for some reason the idea of twins makes me become nervous. alaric begins to notice my nervousness. "don't worry. you'll be able to tell them apart. one is blonde, the other is brunette." he states, walking off with my dad and caroline. i stare at the oddly shiny concrete for a while until i hear the sound of shoes clasping as the hit the concrete floor. "i'm so sorry we're late." the blonde girl says. my eyes immediately land on the brunette girl. "she seems...interesting." i think to myself  before  i'm interrupted.

"hi, i'm lizzie." the blonde girl blurts out. "i'm josie." the beautiful brunette continues. they both glance at me as if they want me to say something. "oh, i'm hope." i mutter to them.

lizzie's POV
this girl seriously needs to start wearing polyester, like ASAP. she does have gorgeous auburn hair and amazing ocean eyes. i can just tell she isn't listening to a word i'm saying. she's been staring at josie, which i would be completely fine with, if they weren't both blushing like crazy. "and that's the end of the tour!" i blurt out, turning around at the same time as josie. "your dorm is upstairs on the right." josie slurs. "door 505" i quickly add on before heading to the kitchen.
i need to get all my emotions off my chest. i head into the kitchen only to see MG getting a blood bag. perfect. MG has been pining after me since his first year here. i cup his face and kiss him.

josie's POV
"see ya, hope! get settled in well." i mutter before heading into my dorm. as i lay down on my bed, i receive a call from non other than MG. i answer with a slightly tired, worn out voice. "hey, i can't talk for long but listen. so i'm in the kitchen, getting a quick blood bag before i head off to my dorm, right? all of the sudden, lizzie saltzman walks in and kisses me. and it wasn't just any kiss. it was euphoric, i swear! oops, i got to go. ps, i think your sisters staying in my dorm tonigh-" MG cuts off. i lay on my bed, speechless about what i just heard.

the last thing i remember was the cold wind coming in from my window.
