"I can't believe it, you're actually home." You squealed excitedly as you danced around the living room as your boyfriend, Jin-Hyuk, walked through the door of your house, looking completely healthy and no sign of terminal cancer. There was a simple explanation for that, or not-so-simple, it was gone, completely vanished overnight. The doctors had sent Jin-Hyuk home, baffled by his sudden recovery

"Yeah, well by the looks of it..." Jin-Hyuk frowned as he started looking through the cupboards and fridge "You hadn't planned on me coming home. There's no fucking food in the house." you froze as you noticed that tone, the one he used when he was going to flip. Why had you even bothered being happy? You knew truthfully the moment he set foot back into the house it would be filled with the same painful memories of his abuse. But deep down, you knew somewhere, Jin-Hyuk was a good person. He had to be. Right? Before he had chance to hurl abuse at you, mental or physical, you grabbed your purse quickly and rushed to the front door

"Don't worry! I'll...I'll go get some food! It's okay, I'll get your favourites. I'll even cook!" you spoke frantically with a fake smile, desperate to leave the house and surprisingly Jin-Hyuk allowed you to leave without yelling at you, but you knew if you stayed then it would be a different matter. As you quickly walked towards town, not wanting to keep Jin-Hyuk waiting long, you stared down at your palm. The pentagram imprint was still there, it was a miracle you had been able to hide it from Jin-Hyuk, not that he would have cared as to who may have hurt you, but more so that another person - where he would assume it would be a man - had touched you. Not thinking that, hey, maybe it wasn't your fault, because of course, everything was your fault with Jin-Hyuk. Jungkook's face suddenly flashed in front of your eyes, remembering the other night as clear as day, you'd dreamt about him the night it happened and you hated the fact that you did. The devil, of all people to mark you in some way, it had to be the Devil. That basically summed up your luck. You frowned as you came within sight of the shops, because you had sworn you had heard your name be called so you whipped around to see if there was anyone. A shadow, that's all you saw, for a split second, someone hiding in the shadows. A chill ran up your spine when you realised it could only be one person, but you carried on into the shops, not even stealing another look behind you. No way was you allowing this to take over your mind.

You blinked as you approached your house, the door open ajar. Your heart fell into your stomach thinking someone had broke in, someone had maybe hurt Jin-Hyuk. Shit, what if it was Jungkook? You walked into the house cautiously, shutting the door behind you as quiet as you could. That's when you heard it, screeching from upstairs along with a thud every now and then. Was Jin-Hyuk in trouble? You quickly ran over to your knife rack in the kitchen, grabbing a knife before cautiously heading upstairs. The screeching was weird now, more drawn out, it sounded like someone was in pain "Ah, fuck!" screamed someone from the bedroom and you realised it was Jin-Hyuk. You went to grab the door handle before you stopped, hearing a second person make a sound and your heart sank. It was a girl. Logic hadn't set in straight away though, you became angry with the thought that someone had tried to break in and was now trying to hurt Jin-Hyuk, so you slammed open the door only to freeze in the doorway at the sight in front of you. In your bed, lay Jin-Hyuk and your sister, your sister on top of him. What made it worse, was they saw you had entered, but they didn't stop. They carried on. You dropped the knife in your hand, it falling to the floor with a clang of metal against wood

"Oh, nice of you to join us. But would you mind giving us privacy?" Cleo looked at you with lidded eyes as she smirked at you, still rolling her hips on Jin-Hyuk. You knew your sister could be a bitch, but this was a new level. You felt the muscles in your jaw flare as you gritted your teeth harshly, before barking out a

"We're fucking through!" and rushed downstairs, grabbing what you could. Your purse, your car keys, anything. You didn't even close the door behind you as you ran out of it, throwing yourself into your car and starting the engine. You almost expected Jin-Hyuk to come running after you, begging you to stay and that it was a mistake, but that never happened as your eyes wandered up to the window that was your bedroom, where you saw the shadows of Jin-Hyuk and Cleo still going at it. You let out a cry that could only be described as a wail as you flew out of the drive in reverse and then sped off down the road at a speed you never thought you'd go, but you did. You needed to get away. Far away. There was nothing left for you here. But where would you go?
