That day

"SHREK!" I heard my mom call from downstairs, the angry tone in her voice was enough to wake me up, I wanted to shut my eyes till I realized.. IT WAS MY FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL I ran to my closet and put on the most comfortable thing in my wardrobe and ran down the stairs, "SHREK DO YOU REALIZE WHAT TIME IT IS?!" Uh oh... I thought to myself, my mom was always a nice easygoing person, a person who doesn't get angry easily, but I could tell the way she looked at me.... I said awkwardly, she just responded with a laugh, not those kind of laughs where it's funny but where they slap you afterwards and ask you if you're insane, "are you fucking kidding me? YOU MISSED THE FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL FOR GODS SAKE" "sorry..." I said, "you know what?
