Should I be happy or sad?

I barely open my eyes and move my hand around in order to find my stupid phone!
"Hello" I speak into the phone when I find it
" Rhymeeee,wake up" a voice shouts in my ear
"Uh, who is this"
" I'm Nikki, you're best friend, now wake up"
" Oh, nikki morning. What time is it ?" I say as I start to become aware of my surroundings.
"It's 10am and you're still sleeping."
" You better have a good reason for waking me up so early on a Sunday coz right now I wanna punch you through the phone"
" Ya whatever now listen, Apparently their has been a fire and our school building destroyed"
" Say what now ?"  I sit up straight now really paying attention to what she was saying.
" I am saying that the whole school has been burnt down to ashes but nobody was harmed"
" You're kidding right?"
" I am not and if you would watch news once in a while you would have known"
" But how?when? Where? What?!" I stumble with words unable to process what she told me
" Rhyme listen to me very clearly.......The...school...building...has...been...destroyed...in...a...fire and no I'm not kidding and you're not dreaming either"
Dang we joked about this but I would have  never thought that it  would actually happen. I wait a few seconds before replying
" I don't know whether to be happy or say"
" How are you feeling" she laughs
" Um I'm confused. What will we do now "
" I don't know we'll probably get some notice or email regarding the situation"
" Oh right, I'll call you back once I'm fully awake"
" Ya okay, bye"
" Byei"

After fully waking up and  freshing up I head downstairs to see both my parents watching news.
" Mom, Dad did you hear the news ?" I exclaimed
" Ya, we saw the news and we also got a E-mail from the school I forwarded it to you so you can read too"
I open my phone to see the E-mail in block letters
    
       ALBERTA HIGH GIRLS SCHOOL
We regret to inform you that, due to a mishap the school building will have to be reconstructed from scratch.
However, the students need not worry the students will be attending school in our other branches starting this Monday. All the other details about the schedule, address etc. has been enclosed in a form below.

I sigh as I wish reading the whole letter. This is certainly going to be interesting. Our school has three branches,the one I go to is all girls but the other two branches are not.

I spent the rest of my sunday thinking whether this is a good thing or bad, eating, binging, lying around and lets not forget eating. I text niks to meet me at outside her house at 7:30 am tomorrow. It's almost 12 what should I do?
I'll sleep and wake up fresh tomorrow
Or I could binge
No sleep!
But.......
I'll sleep yeah, sleep it is!!

Eeeeep I actually published my book omg
Okay so that was the first chapter!
I wanted this chapter to be short only and tell you people how will it all start.
This could certainly be better. I'm trying, I'll improve, just bear with me.
