CHAPTER 21

JENNIE'S POV
I did as what I promised Y/n and went to the rooftop after school as I got there...I saw him sat there while looking at the sky

"Amaze by the sky that much?" he look at me as I smile at him, he tap the space beside him so I gently sat there looking at him "The rooftop is my escape when I'm stressed out in class"

Now I understand why some teachers complain that he just leaves in the middle of class to go somewhere...he was here at the rooftop all along

"So as I said...I would like to tell you a story, ready?" he looked at me as if he was asking permission to continue so I nodded and smiled at him "There was this guy named...Y/n Lee" he look straight at the scenery keeping at blank expression in him

"I was the same as you guys....cheerful, likes to try new things, explore myself and wanted to more about me"

"I didn't have any friends beside from Yoongi-hyung and Chaeyoung-ah since they were my neighbors"

"Wait...were you home schooled?" he nodded still looking at the scenery "At a young age I was really aware of my future responsibilities as part of the Lee family"

"I knew even before that when I got into the right age, I will have to marry someone that was arrange to marry me too" I didn't know why he was telling his past to me

But I like it...I'm feeling as if he was trusting me his whole life right now just like what Yoongi-Oppa said.

He didn't want to tell anyone though...he just wanted to say it to me

'Am I important to him?'

"I was excited by that kind of thing when I was a kid...going back now I don't really know why I was excited to be arranged in marriage"

"Maybe because...I knew I haven't fallen in love or I was just really young. Instead of thinking about it, I burried my whole self learning different kinds of instruments and reading books"

"Which turned me into a nerd...." I was just looking at his side profile until he looked down and sadly smiled "And then I met this girl...younger than me"

Y/N'S POV
//FLASHBACK//
I looked at Jennie before smiling..."That girl looks exactly like you do you know that?" she has confusion written all over her face

"I couldn't remember her name...because of the accident"

"Accident?" I hum in response before looking at the scenery once again "Before all of that happened...she left me without saying goodbye and just left a letter telling me she wanted to see me on t.v so she wouldn't forget me"

"She was my first love...and I wanted to marry her, funny right? I was just a kid but I already knew who I wanted to marry but then she left me without saying a single bye"

I look down and smiled sadly "It broke me...that's when I started not showing up to interviews or any public event that my family was invited in"

"I really do miss her....I want to meet her again"

"But at the same time I hated her....and then the accident happened and it caused me to have a temporary amnesia although my memories are back"

"My memories of her...didn't, it all feels like she was just part of a dream and I didn't got to meet her"

"So you changed becuase of that certain girl?" I nodded before standing up, she stood up aswell "So you, if ever you are going to fall in love with someone like me...make sure to always say goodbye when you're leaving" smiled and nodded

I didn't know what got into me...but I just told Jennie my past. I lay down on my bed and look at my ceiling "The world is a mytery"

I look over to my table and saw our picture...she really do resemble Jennie a lot

'What the!? I shouldn't be thinking about Jennie right now'

"Got problems bro?" I shake my head 'no' but he didn't believe me "Ah yeah, tell that to your messy hair" I let a sigh out before nodding at him

'I hate this'

LISA'S POV
"So...he just told you his past?" Jennie Unnie nodded "Woah~ tell us come on" Chaeng said

I thought she was Y/n's childhood bestfriend and yet he knows little about Y/n "I can't, he trusted me about it and we agreed I won't spoke about his past to anyone" I threw a pillow at Unnie before pouting

So...he trust Unnie with his past huh?

"He really hates us" I said while pouting "No he doesn't, he'll tell it to us eventually but maybe just not today"

"Chaeyoung-ah, aren't you his childhood friend? why are you still curious about his past?"

"Yeah...when literally you're part of his past" Jennie Unnie and I said but she just shrug her shoulders "Even though I am, he was as secretive as he was today but he doesn't hid anything to Yoongi maybe it's because they're both boys" we nodded at her

I have always been curious about Y/n eversince I met him but now, I want to know about him and Chaeng something tells me there are more to it than just friendship "Hey guys, I found a great spot for our summer vacation with the boys" Jisoo Unnie suddenly said so we went to her at her pc room and saw that she searched so many places to visit

"This beach is near a museum, a little zoo, forest, mall etc." we looked at each other before checking the place "Casa de Kim?"

"Sounds fancy" Jennie Unnie said as me and Chaeng agreed

"Well...let's go tell the boys"

Vacation huh? This will be my chance to get to know Y/n more and observe him.

My chance with Y/n..."Ahm...Lisa why are you blushing?" I looked at Chaeng before looking at the mirror. I really am blushing "N-nothing, just thinking a-bout s-stuff"

"Oh~ looks like someone is thinking dirty stuff about their crush" Jisoo Unnie teased and then...all of them started teasing me until they were satisfied

'Why was I really blushing? Is it because of Y/n?'
