I walk through the school hallway as I try to hide the sharp pain in my right arm, my dad decided to beat me last night. He said it was because he couldn't get a girl from the club to come home with him, so he was bored. His excuses never seize to amaze me, but I guess I should be grateful since he let me eat dinner yesterday.I look up and see a group of your typical popular girls. I've talked to a couple of them, some are actually likable, the one I hate the most is Kiera. She's slept with all of the popular guys and jocks so that says a lot about her.
Kiera comes up to me and shoves me against the locker, while I flinch at the harsh touch and memories of my dad beating me came into my mind.
"Finish these and give them back to me by tomorrow" she says handing me the geology homework and then slapping me for who knows what reason. I suddenly feel my self shaking from all of my memories flooding back.
I quickly remember that I'm in charge here and I knee her in the stomach and punch her in the face, while she weeps in pain, I decide to give her some peace of mind. "I'm not doing your stupid homework bitch-", I say sternly throwing the papers back at her.
"-And next time you feel like messing with me, you should expect a visit to the hospital", I whispered in her ear.
I look around and everyone is now staring at us. The bell rings and I quickly run to class, but right when I'm about to get there I hear the intercom go off.
"Willow Gorman, to the office now!" I sigh when I hear the principals angry voice over the speakers. He's always mad about something but I guess he has a reason now.
I walk over to Principal Hardford's office then sit on the only untaken chair out of the three next to two guys and wait for my name to be called. Frustratedly i groan at the thought of him yelling at me even though my dad already yells enough.
"What did you do?" The guy next to me asks.
"Why does that concern you?" I ask trying not to sound annoyed."It doesn't, I'm just bored" he replies shrugging while looking at the floor.
"What about the dude next to you?"
"He's to crazy for my liking" he says turning to the other guy. "Hey! I'm your best friend, what do you mean I'm to crazy for your liking!" The guy says sensitively.
"Willow Gorman, come in". The Principal says from the other side of the door.
"Well guess you'll never know why I'm hear", I tell the guy next to me. "Welp, if you ever need help or something, my name is Kye Lauder".
I look at him for a second then get up and walk into the office.
"I see you decided to punch a girl today, and knee her in the stomach" he looks at me disappointingly. "I thought you were a better student than that Ms. Gorman".
I slowly put my head down, for some reason guilt is rushing through me. "Sir, I'm sorry but she slapped me first and I did that in self defense".
"I understand but kneeing her and punching her was to far, you should know better than to do that to another student". I look at him and sigh in defeat. The only other time I was called into the office was when Keira accused me of copying off her during our exams, but everyone one new that she's the stupidest in the class and her dad pays the teachers to raise her grades. So I got away with something I didn't even do.
"Your punishment is cleaning the windows in the fifth hall after school, you'll have two other people helping you so I expect it to be spotless got it". " Yes sir"
I get up and walk out of the room down the hall, and I hear the principal call the two guys that are sitting there in. "Kye Lauder and Quincey McCoy com in".
'This is gonna be a long day', I tell myself.
