Chapter Two

The blaring of the alarm wakes Mina up, the first day at work and the first day of pretending. On the first day of being Sharon, as much as she dislikes being called Sharon, she doesn't have that much of a choice. If she will reveal her name, chances are people would notice.

She already got the copy of her edited birth certificate, the only thing Nayeon edited is her name and surname.

She reluctantly leaves her bed as she makes her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and shower.

Wouldn't want to be late on her official first day as the secretary now do we?

"Morning," She greets her group of friends occupying the chairs where they usually sit, who looks as horrible and cranky as her in the morning. They aren't morning people.

They all greet her back, looking at their mugs like it's the most entertaining thing in the morning.

Some contain coffee in their mugs, some tea, and some just plain water. "First day of work, yey... " Mina says to herself with no eagerness as she fixes herself some coffee.

Looking at the watch above, her eyes widen when she realizes she only has a couple of minutes until she is officially late for her first day.

"Crap!" She yells as she hurriedly runs upstairs, accidentally missing a step that caused her to slip.

"What an awful morning," She grumbles under her breath as she stands up, limping a little but she ignored the pain as she continued walking.

She needs her job as much as she needs a healthy leg and foot.

"I'm going to be late! Dammit!"

----

"Good Morning, Miss Son," Everyone greeted their boss, whose hair pulled into a bun, still wearing a suit and her shiny black heels and her usual bitch face.

She nods in approval, seeing as not a single person is late. "Everyone this is Sharon, my new personal assistant, introduce yourselves later, we still have a lot to do," She explains in her usual voice, gesturing to the woman beside her who also sported a bitch face, staring at her employees one by one.

"Dismissed." Just like that, everyone scrammed to continue their jobs, typing away in their personalized computers.

The two however walked their way towards Chaeyoung's office, Sharon limping lightly but trying to hide it, sending a small smile in Chaeyoung's way when the latter looked at her.

Sharon opens the office door, letting her boss enter first before her, walking quickly towards her table so her boss wouldn't know she slipped.

"Is everything okay Sharon?" Chaeyoung asks as she settles herself in her seat, looking at her secretary curiously.

"Yes Miss, had a rough start this morning but everything's sorted out," The latter excuses, not even bothering if her boss believed her or not, she's a great liar. One can't even tell if she is being sarcastic or serious.

Perks of having genius friends.

"Well, shall we start working on these then?" The chief executive officer asks, looking down at the papers on her table before looking at Sharon's.

"We shall, " The two then started working, admiring the peace of the atmosphere as they read and sign.

But of course, something would break the peace. Sharon stops signing when her phone vibrated, indicating that someone had sent her a text.
